Several vendor courses, including Cisco MPLS­T, ASR9k essentials, Juniper J­VPN and
Juniper Security Essentials, introductory course to Alcatel­Lucent 7750.
Skills:
­ full stack of MPLS protocols and technologies, and hardware to support them.
Especially proficient with Cisco Systems and Juniper Networks hardware, somewhat
less with Alcatel­Lucent. More used to OSPF environments than to IS­IS. Solid
knowledge of MP­BGP. Lab experience with Unified MPLS and LFA. Current
day­to­day operation environment includes multi vendor MPLS core with BFD
triggered FRR, RSVP signalled TE tunnels, both OSPF and IS­IS as IGP, L3 and L2
VPNs as main service for both external and internal clients;
­ deep knowledge of carrier grade Cisco and Juniper routing hardware and software,
down to architecture/internal packet flow;
­ solid troubleshooting skills;
­ security hardware and services: firewalls, carrier grade 4­to­4 NAT, load balancers.
Hands­on experience with Cisco FWSM/ASA, Juniper SRX, Juniper MX platform with
MS­DPC, Cisco ACE;
­ shell and perl scripting, basic web apps development using Python/Django stack;
­ lab experience with multicast and IPv6;
­ intermediate level English, good business writing skills.
