  3. 3. The purpose: to allow communication with the rest of the world The main objective in learning language is to allow for personal growth and enrichment Communication Individual choice and achievement
  4. 4. Learners are expected to eventually use the language as near native speakers.
  5. 5. Negotiate in English with clients Correspond with foreign companies Lead business meetings in English Develop a richer business vocabulary Communicate over the telephone, etc
  6. 6. To establish goal is influenced by current the trend in language teaching profession. Emphasize on grammatical analysis and language philosophy.
  7. 7. Course Outline is a document which ideally describes : What the learners are expected to know What is to be taught during the course When it is to be taught How it is to be taught How it is to be evaluated
  8. 8. By whom and where were the materials developed? Are the materials compatible with the syllabus? Do most of the materials provide alternative for teachers & learners? Which language skills do the materials cover? How authentic are the text types included in the materials How teachable and learnable the materials really
