1. NAME:- GEDIYA DISHA

HABIT OF STUDENTS

2. • This presentation is about my survey of reading habit of
students and my target was girls hostel.But after less
response of girls of hostel I have shared my Form to my
classmates also.

3. • During my M.A. in Department of English MKBU,I
have done one survey on Reading habit of students.
I had made one survey form and started the survey

4. MY EXPERIENCE
• First I had visited MSC students who behaved well
with me. Then I had mate different field' s students
like BSC students, B.ed students, B.A.
students,MSW Students, B.com students, BBA
Students etc.they also gave me well response on
this.

5. CONTINUE.....
• Most of them were interested in this survey because they
found some new things like education with technology in the
survey. Behave politely and gave the response very honestly.
Most of them have question that why I am doing this?and I
answered them that this is my task and for that I am doing
this. Some of them were also asking about privacy of their
gmail because they have fear that suppose I will make misuse
of their ID but I have given the surety to them that this is only
for my task and I will never misuse it.

6. CONTINUE...
• I had mate so many students from various field but some
of them have not their personal android phone. Some
students have android phone but they have not mail ID
and have internet problem.Most of the students were
interested so I enjoyed the work a lot.

7. STUDENTS RESPONSE
Here we can see that
8.1%people are that who does
not like reading .So in this
whom we can include?
Generally it is said that
Students should have studious
attitude but here this
8.1%factly accept that they
doesn’t like reading.

8. • Here the percentage of
students who like reading
very much is22%.
• 41.8%percent people, take
it enjoyable way.

9. • Students choose both online
and printed material here
which shows that in real
sense they are using
both.But the green area of
the pie chart still show that
people are still using books
only for reading, nothing
else.

10. • In this chart we can see
that the percentage of
book reader is still more
than web source reader.

11. • Most of the people say
‘yes’ in the chart, about
their use of study material
on internet but if we
compare it with before's
chart in which the number
mention the use of book is
more than internet.

12. • Here those who choose
internet for reading they
find the online material Is
helpful for them.But
16.9%people doesn’t see It
as helpful.

13. • In this chart most of the
people goes with book
which mean most of the
people still like to read
books rather than web
source.

15. • In thai chart people who
goes with no mean, are
they really that much
studious students who
doesn’t like to read any
other materials ,which is
out of syllabus?
