3. Development- The purpose of the developmentphase istoprepare the entire systemfor
goinglive.Thisincludesactivitiessuchascompletinganynecessarycustomizations,
developingusertrainings,andimportingdata.WithERP implementations,likeanycustom
software developmentprojects –“First,Solve the problem.Then,writethe code.”
4. Testing- Is the system’sfunctionalityaligningwiththe setrequirementsforthe project?The
TestingandDevelopmentphaseswill oftenoverlap,asthe implementationandproject
teamsjumpbetweenthe two –constantlyfine tuningthe configuration.Bythe endof this
phase,projectteammemberswillbe comfortabledoingtheirjobsinthe new system.Thisis
the final stepbefore divingintothe live system.
5. Deployment- The projectteamand implementationteamwill assessthe situationandmake
the final goor no-godecision.Priortogoinglive,the final datawill be loadedandvalidated.
