Introduction
 An organizational chart is a diagram that shows the structure of an organization and the relationships
and relative ranks of its parts and positions/jobs. The term is also used for similar diagrams, for
example ones showing the different elements of a field of knowledge or a group of languages.
Organograms are generally used to show the chain of command within an organization. They can be
tailored to meet the needs of the organization, and may contain information such as the job titles, names, or
areas of responsibility for the staff.

Responsibilities & Requirements
■ GM:
GM is Also known as Managing Directors or Chief Operating Officers, General Managers are tasked with
overseeing daily business activities, improving overall business functions, training heads of departments,
managing budgets, developing strategic plans, creating policies, and communicating business goals.
General Manager Responsibilities:
o Overseeing daily business operations.
o Developing and implementing growth strategies.
o Training low-level managers and staff.
o Creating and managing budgets.
o Improving revenue.
o Hiring employees.
o Evaluating performance and productivity.
o Analyzing accounting and financial data.
o Researching and identifying growth opportunities.

■ DGM:
Primary Responsibilities. A deputy general manager primary responsibility is to oversee the day-to-day
operations, which can include negotiating contracts with vendors or prospective employees, assigning tasks,
leading meetings and implementing initiatives handed down by the general manager or executives.
Deputy General Manager Responsibilities:
o Has the responsibilities for running the garment department including production planning, operation control,
measuring and monitoring of product and the process.
o Establishing and maintaining identification and traceability requirement.
o Inspection test status, taking corrective and preventive action.
o Controlling nonconforming products at intermediate and final stages in General Department.
o Analyzing product and process performance form measurement process to identify area for improvement.
o 6. Provide supports for approval and maintenance of equipment related to Garment Department and training of
stuff in the department.

AGM:
The AGM is responsible for ordering goods and scheduling labor. The AGM is responsible to
manage and oversee all safety processes within the store. The Admeasures an exceptional customer
experience. Where applicable, this position will assist the GM with managing the fuel offer.
Deputy General Manager Responsibilities:
■ Act as liaison between front-line employees and the general manager
■ Work in tandem with team members and provide training and correction as necessary
■ Monitor store inventory and report any needs to the general manager
■ Respond to and resolve customer complaints and comments as needed

■ Production Officer:
Production managers ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and
efficiently. Responsibilities of the job include: ... estimating, negotiating and agreeing

Production officer responsibilities:
– To collect the necessary information and instruction from the previous shift for the
smooth running of the section.
– To make the junior officer understand how to operate the whole production process.
– To match production sample with target Fabric.
– To observe Producing fabric during running condition of the m/c.
– To identify any fault in the fabric and report to PM/GM necessary action.
– To discuss with PM about overall production if necessary.
– To execute the overall floor work.

Workers:
A production worker is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in a factory or warehouse and
preparing items for distribution. The job description of a production worker involves assembling and checking
product parts, ensuring that all machinery runs smoothly, and assisting in the shipment of items.
Workers Responsibilities:
•Starts assembly and production machinery at beginning of shift.
•Monitors equipment to ensure that products are being assembled properly.
•Makes sure that workstation is clean and free of hazardous materials.
•Addresses problems with production equipment and machinery and fixes them as needed.
•Cleans equipment.
•Assembles product parts by hand.
•Uses power tools to solder, weld, drill, and attach parts.
•Observes and removes faulty product parts from assembly line.

•Affixes labels, company logos, and other exterior details to products.
•Packs up completed products and prepares them for shipment.

Education and Experience
•High school diploma or GED is required.
•Certification and licensing to operate factory machinery is strongly preferred.
•Previous experience in factory or warehouse setting is recommended.
Quality Assurance
Quality Manager:
Quality managers aim to ensure that the product or service an organization provides is fit for purpose, is
consistent and meets both external and internal requirements. As a quality manager, sometimes called
a quality assurance manager, you'll coordinate the activities required to meet these quality standards.
Responsibilities:
■ Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
■ Devise and review specifications for products or processes
■ Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance
■ Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
■ Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback
■ Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
■ Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements.
■ Approve the right products or reject defectives
■ Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis

■ In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
■ Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods
■ BSc/ Ba in business administration or relevant field

Quality Inspector:
A Quality Inspector monitors the quality of incoming and outgoing products or materials for a
company. Also known as a Quality Control Inspector, they are tasked with conducting tests,
analyzing measurements, and overseeing production processes.
Responsibilities:
■ Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for
shipping.
■ Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
■ Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
■ Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the
specifications.
■ Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
■ Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
■ Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence.
■ Supervise the production process.
■ Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.

■ High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
■ Certification in quality control is preferred.
■ A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
■ Excellent knowledge of MS Office.

HR & Admin
HR:
Human resources is the company department charged with finding, screening, recruiting and training
job applicants, and administering employee-benefit programs.
Responsibilities:
■ Organize and maintain personnel records
■ Update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave)
■ Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
■ Revise company policies.
■ Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
■ Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
■ Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
■ Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence,
sick days and work schedules)
■ Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms
■ Participate in HR projects (e.g. help organize a job fair event)
HR & Admin
Store
Store Officer:
Store Officers play an important role in retail establishments and are responsible for maintaining
inventories, ordering new items, placing products on shelves, pulling our expired items, and keeping
records of transferred merchandise.
Store officer responsibilities:
■ Store officers check inventory records for accuracy
■ Store officers keep records of items shipped, received, or transferred to another location
■ Store officers find, sort, or move goods between different parts of the business
■ Store officers compile reports on various aspects of changes in production or inventory

Store keeper:
Store keeper is the important person for the store. He is the in charge of
the store department and also responsible for store control. The primary duties of the store
keeper is various and varied according to the organization structure. A store keeper is being
the head of a store dept.
Store keeper responsibilities:
■ Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom
■ Receive, unload, and shelve supplies
■ Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
■ Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and
record keeping
■ Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses
■ Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and
maintain inventory control
■ Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs
Utility maintenance
Mechanical engineer:
Mechanical engineers produce specifications for, design, develop, manufacture and install new or
modified mechanical components or systems. Mechanical engineers need to be technically minded,
able to demonstrate numerical and scientific ability and have problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Engineers work in a variety of fields to analyze, develop and evaluate large-scale, complex
systems. This can mean and improve and maintaining current systems or creating brand new
projects. Engineers will design and draft blueprints, visit systems in the field
and manage projects.

Electrical engineer:
Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting
research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials. Confirms system's and
components' capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties.
Responsibilities:
Electrical engineers design, develop, and test electrical devices and equipment, including
communications systems, power generators, motors and navigation systems, and electrical systems
for automobiles and aircraft. They also oversee the manufacture of these devices, systems, and
equipment.
Foreman:
A foreman is usually the top supervisory position in environments such as construction work sites.
The individual typically has formal training paired with experience in the industry and has the ability
to direct, supervise and troubleshoot common issues that arise on the job.
Fitter man:
A person who puts together or installs machinery, engine parts, or other equipment and who
supervises the cutting, fitting, or alteration of garments or shoes.
Layout
 Layout is the way in which the parts of something are arranged or set out
in particular way.
 Types of layout
 There are four basic layout types;
I. Process or Functional Layout
II. Fixed Position Layout
III. Product or Line Layout
IV. Combination type of Layout

 Process or Functional Layout : In this type of layout, only one product
of one type of products is produced in an operating area. These machines
are arranged according to the sequence of operations of the product.
 Fixed Position Layout : In this kind of layout, the product remains
stationary in a fixed location. Here Men and machines can be utilized for
numerous kinds of operations manufacturing different products
 Product layout : In this kind of layout, the machines are generally
arranged in a series based on the process sequence required for
manufacturing the garment.
 Combined layout : It is a mixture of the product and process layouts,
which could be observed in many of the apparel units.
• Blow Room: In this section Process or
Functional Layout is good. Here in one room
there arrange this type of machineries.
• Carding & Draw frame: In this section
Product layout can be good.
• Combing & Speed frame: This section also
used product layout.
• Ring Frame: In this section Fixed Layout
can be used. Here Men and machines can be
utilized for numerous kinds of operations
