I’M IN CHARGE OF PROCUREMENT, WAREHOUSE, CUSTOMER SERVICE AND OPERATIONS OF THE HQ AND

OPERATIONS MANAGER 2007 – 2015
Working within this multi-disciplined role, mainly responsible for (as part of the management team)
sales operations, distribution, production, inventory control, warehousing, customer services,
managing general office procedures, shipping, health and safety.
Responsible for the following departments: Sales Operations, Procurement and Logistics
SALES – DOMESTIC-EXPORT
• In house direct sales to domestic and Latin American customers
• Administration of key customers (house account)
• Advanced negotiation and sales skills
• Presentations & Proposals
• Closing Strategies
• Contract Administrator
• Introduction of new product to a market (Latin America and North America)
• Providing operational and sales support for new subsidiaries in Latin America.
• Deep knowledge of company products, services, support, and technology.
• Transferring data from customer schedules and creating in-house work schedules.
• Preparation and monitoring of special BID
• Financial analysis of special projects
• Dealing with all customer requests, requirements, complaints etc.
• Analysing manufacturing and material availability to meet customer demand.
• Using sales and distribution modules in SAP ERP.
SALES MANAGEMENT
• Responsible for the day to day operations of the Customer Service staff: preparing quotes,
processing customer purchase orders, interacting with customers face-to-face, determining
needs, problem solving, supply, etc. RMA.
• Responsible for the planning and organization of the sales operations.
• Experienced in the preparation, implementation and completion of special projects.
• Meeting sales targets annually within set budgets and determining profit/loss.
• Implementation of standing procedures for customer service for our offices in the United States
and Latin America.
• Implementation of Sales and Distribution modules from SAP ERP and KPI
• Increasing gross margin 25 to 30%.
• In charge of Sales Reports
LOGISTICS / DISTRIBUTION / PROCUREMENT:
• Responsible for in-bound and out-bound shipments.
• Optimized store holding - JIT. In a complex administrative role, managing an inventory of $2.5
million through computer databases. Anticipating and responding to demand patterns using
computer models.
• Procurement of resources and product distribution.
• Disposal of equipment and materials.
• Improving daily despatch accuracy from approx. 85% to 99.5%
Procurement:
• In charge of providing required items in accordance with the four “basic rights”: right quality,
right price, right place and right time. SAP MRP
• Implementation of MRP models for the Unites States and other subsidiaries in Latin America.
• Products Sales Report
• Procurement Reports ABC
• Optimizing the “Total Cost of Ownership”.
Warehouse Management:
• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of a 27,700 sq. ft warehouse and a fast moving
inventory which consists of 1629 item headings encompassing motor transport, technical,
general stores, engines and ancillary equipment.
• Helped re-build the warehouse while integrating a new computerised stores system and
establishing the most efficient layout.
• Introduced the Standing Operating Procedures and Technical Procedures for the warehouse.
Implemented these procedures at our office in Florida and our subsidiaries in Latin America.
• Increased efficiency of the warehouse, stock control and dispatch by rescheduling and
prioritising workloads.
• Reduced monthly issue inabilities from 30 to 2-3 and a first time strike rate of 98.5% was
reached.
• Introduced technical training, health & safety awareness, and quality meeting on a weekly basis.
• Increased overall efficiency of stock control and dispatch.
• In charge alongside the Financial Department in the reduction of excess inventory.
• In charge of the Bill of Material (BOM) for productions of the assembly line in addition to work
orders for tech and Assembly line area. Using Material Management in SAP ERP
• Responsible for the Inventory control & Cycle count.
• Responsible for the physical integrity of the inventory.
• Increased stocktaking accuracy levels to 0.001%
• Implementation of Warehouse Management System in SAP ERP

eight years of progressively responsible experience in a related operations management function. Hands
on related warehouse experience are highly desired. Bilingual in Spanish considered a strong plus.
