Preposition is a word that shows relation between
noun and the other words by expressing such
time, place, and direction. Preposition is always used
before a noun or pronoun and shows the relation of
the noun or pronoun to the other words in sentences.
What is Preposition?

1.Preposition for Time
Prepositions used for time of different natures are in, on ,at.
 In
1.Month or Year.
e.g. in January, in 1985
2. Particular time of day or month or year
e.g. in morning, in evening, in first week of January, in summer, in winter
3. Century or specific time in past etc
e.g. in 21st century, in stone age, in past, in future, in present
 On
1. Day
e.g. on Monday
2. Date
e.g. on 5th of March, on March 5th
3. Particular day
e.g. on Independence Day, on my birthday,
 At
1. Time of clock
e.g. at 5 O’clock, at 7:30 PM
2. Short and precise time
e.g. at noon, at sunset, at lunch time, at bed time, at the moment, at the same time
Types of Preposition

 In
Place having some boundary (physical or virtual
boundary)
Eg:
the theatre is held In the school
there is a cinema 21 In the mall
siddiq puts his letter In a box
angga is singing In his car
catherine was In library
novi reads a novel In garden
Preposition for Place/location
( in, on, at )
On
Surface of something
eg : the books is On a table
lea is writing On blackboard
do your exercices On page 10
the ants walk On the wall
At
Specific Place.
My father was waiting me At the entrance of the office
i wait my friends At bus stop
i put his flower at the window.

Prepositions like to, towards, and into
are used to describe the direction.
Examples:
She went to the library.
He jumped into the river.
He ran away when he felt that
someone was coming toward him.
Preposition for Direction
(to, toward, into)

 What is Interjection?
Interjection is short word or phrase which show
into a sentence as an exclamation of feeling or
emotions (ouch! hurrah! oh dear !) or to attract
attention (psst,hey ! hi!).Interjection is also express
strong or sudden feeling of joy, sorrow, wonder.
 Exclamation sign is used after interjections.
INTERJECTION

.
The Example of
Interjection
Hurrah! We won the competition.
Ouch! It hurts.
Wow! What a nice shirt.
Hey! What are you doing?
Alas! My parents are dead.
Oh! I forgot to bring my pursez

Besides these specific interjections, a normal word
can also be used as interjection if it is used to
express feeling or emotion.
Ex:
No! Don’t touch it, it is hot.
What! I am selected for the job?
Help! I am about to fall.
Well! I will try my level best.

1)Unlike words of other part of speech,an interjection
normally does not have any grammatical relationship
with other words in a sentence:
 Oh hell! I made another mistake.
 Wow!you are really hot.
 Whew!it’s really hot!
In the examples interjections are not subjects, objects or
complement of a sentence.Unlike adjective and
adverbs, they are not needed to describe or qualify
another words in a sentence
The following points
should be noted:

 Oh!There you are.
 Oh,There you are.
 All my friends, alas, betrayed me.
2)Exclamations marks and commas are used
with interjections :

Verbs that are used alone such as Look! Listen! Stop!
Are not interjections. They are imperative sentence
(commands) with subject you left out as understood.

