Market
A weekly market is a market that is
set up on a specific day of the
week. Most of the time, it is on
Tuesday or Thursday. It is not a
permanent market. The sellers
arrive early in the morning and set
up the stalls by noon and then start
to sell and usually pack up at night
by 10pm. This type of market is
locally known as âMandiâ.
4. Mall, Shopping
Centres
These days in urban areas, where we
have large, multi-storeyed,
airconditioned buildings with markets
inside called âMalls â In these places,
you can get branded items as well as
unbranded/local items. However,
mainly only rich and upper middle
class people usually buy from malls
due to the prices being high in malls
than other places.

sure the buyer or consumer is aware of
the information about products, goods,
services, and consumers rights.
Consumer awareness is important so that
buyer can take the right decision, make
the right choice and to avoid making
mistakes and inconvenience in the future.
Consumers have the right to information,
to choose and to safety.

Consumer Court is a special purpose court in India. It primarily deals
with consumer-related disputes, conflicts, and grievances. The court
holds hearings to adjudicate these disputes. Some types of consumer

The roles of consumer courts is to solve

wholesale trading ad money distribution. A
