and execution in key business areas including technical, operational,
project development, commercial, and HR.
• Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and formulating NTPC’s
view on regulatory and policy related issues including policy related to
issues raised at CERC and other regulatory forums.
• Was on committee for evaluation and takeover of Patratu (840MW) (a
non performing station of Jharkhand SEB) for its revival and expansion
by NTPC.
• On committee for review of DOP and ERMC of NTPC.

• Formulation and Supervision of Joint Venture Companies.
• Vendor and supplier relationships
• Management of fuel supplies including experience in finalization of
Fuel Supply Agreements; fuel procurement through tendering.
• Was on committee for developing a whitepaper and making
presentation to NTPC Board of Directors regarding shortage of coal
receipt in weightment, shortfall in quality for build and received GCV
and its billing related issues. After persistent efforts at GOI level, this
has eventually lead to introduction of third party sampling at mines
and station end with improvement in coal quality.
• Lead the negotiations for Fuel Supply Agreements incorporating
concept of performance linked bonus/penalty on Quantity & Quality of
fuel supplies etc. Finalization and signing of Fuel supply Agreements
for Mouda Stage I and Mouda stage II recently and for ER stations of
NTPC in the past.
