Currently employed with Eastern Florida State College (EFSC - formerly BCC) for over 5 years. Seeking employment that offers a
better salary package. As the sole provider for my 2 children I need to have the stability of earning potential. Previously employed
as a Secretary/Office Manager/Administrative Assistant for over 30 years with work in Legal Offices, Medical Offices, Real Estate
Offices, Government Offices, Police Stations, Educational Facilities and privately owned businesses. Fast learner due to the
experience possessed. Have used a vast amount of computer software and programs. I feel very confident with my software
knowledge. I’m a people person and team player who works well with others or individually. Very proficient in prioritizing,
organizing, paying attention to detail and I’m very conscience of the quality of work I produce. Offering over 30 years of dedication,
dependability and experience in a field that I absolutely love working in.
WORK HISTORY
Eastern Florida State Colleges – Associate Provost Department and Performing & Visual Arts and Communications, Cocoa,
FL. Full-Time at 40 hours per week, Administrative Assistant III. Following duties are performed with excellent quality and
experience.
 Take minutes in designated department, committee and/or board meetings, transcribes dictation from the
transcription/dictating equipment
 May participate in interdepartmental project groups or task forces to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain
approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, new task efforts,
contract changes, and new policy requirements
 Conduct research and administrative support for special projects by preparing data and providing follow-up and response to
inquiries, completing correspondence, projects, and assignments as required
 Developed department electronic scan and file system which I maintain and update on a daily basis. Files are stored in a
data share folder for access by authorized users to have information available at all times. Maintain and update contact lists
as well
 Maintain calendar/schedule for 2 Department Chairs, Arrange travel, acquire and maintain itineraries and keep track of
expenditures for travel reports upon return and Compose letters and other routine communication
 Developed public calendar for reserving Simpkins Auditorium and Studio Theatre campus wide
 Coordinate meetings for designated groups or committees as determined by information needs. Make appropriate
arrangements for adequate meeting notices, locations, AV needs, any catering needs, and cleanup. Represent the position
of my department at meetings, community events or fundraisers on a limited basis as needed
 Supervise other clerical staff and student assistants and Serve as a resource to others in area of responsibility along with
faculty and students
 Coordinate and may participate in the budget tracking process (including monthly operating expense report), gathers
supporting data for input into budget preparation and monitors monthly expenses of budget
 Performs data entry transferring and compiling HR, Security and/or Training information from multiple sources and
associated paperwork into the applicable Information System(s) with efficiency and accuracy
 Developed emergency exit plan for building and system for making sure all are out of building and at designated exit
location. Perform duties in a safe manner by following the corporate safety policy. Participate and support safety meetings,
training and goals. Ensure safe operating conditions within area of responsibility. Encourage co-workers to work safely.
Identify close calls and/or safety concerns to supervisory personnel. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Act as

 Assisted the full-time teacher with the daily teaching and development of 4 toddlers ranging in ages from 16 months to 2
years old.
 Prepared weekly lesson plans to facilitate daily learning schedule, projects and activities.
 Completed bi-annual Creative Curriculum and Ages & Stages observation reports to pinpoint any learning or motor
concerns needed to be addressed.
 Completed daily sign-in/out of children, communications with parents about children, completed daily log sheets of child’s
