I am currently associated with Carnival Cruise Lines based in Miami (USA) which is a world leader in the
cruise line industry on renewal contracts of 6 months. I spearhead as the Hospitality Manager where I play a
major role. I treat all hotel staff fairly, consistently and without prejudice along with possessing an
enthusiastic management style that keeps all staff engaged. I am logical, passionate and determined when
approaching problems.
My achievement, I encompass over 18 years of experience where I have diversified my knowledge and
exposure in various departments. During my tenure I have managed the activities in departments like
marketing, human resource management, operations, and administration. I have also worked in retail, export-
import and logistics sectors.
Possessing superb commercial acumen, I am more than able to grow revenues and maximize the financial
performance of any hotel department. Right now I am looking for an exciting managerial opportunity in senior
level assignments within an establishment that is committed to personal and career development. I would like

Hospitality Manager (2008 till date)
I play the role of a Team Head for restaurant services. I am liable for my team to provide hospitality services
to guests that come from all over the world; maintenance of excellent quality food and brand image; training
the new team members for proper garbage separation and environmental practices as per maritime
guidelines.
I am obliged to deliver exceptional customer service, at all times, ensuring guests’ comfort and safety; deal
with all enquires in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mail; keeping
the hotel clean and tidy, at all times; and deal with customer complaints in a professional manner.
One of the key factors is to market our brand. I have to schedule team members and supervise their
performance and report to the management for performance evaluation which is done every three months;
keep a track of stock inventories of all materials.

than market rates through container liners, also dealt with customs clearance, documentation for both Air
cargo and Ship cargo; trained and harmonized with new employees; interacted & identified potential clients
and quoted competitive rates for booking of cargo.
I have directed the operational and administrative activities for the office; ensured information flow to and
from the executive office with leadership, employees and key support groups– Marketing, HR,
Communications, Strategic Planning, etc; facilitated the Marketing leadership team in meetings and

As the General Manager, I was accountable for managing accounts of production, marketing and trading of
granite blocks and slabs which were exported to Italy, Spain, Middle East and United States. I had to
collaborate with buyers from Europe and USA and also do documentation such as Form 39, letter of credit and
documents for clearance from port authorities.
I played the role of Chief Operating Officer. I handled the transportation of goods to ports and clearance
documents to mines and geology department and road transport office; identification of quarrying sites all
over India and reporting detail research of investment and analysis of the same.
I have also handled Human Resources like recruitment and training of new employees; participated in the
development and preparation of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based upon broad organization
goals and objectives; directed the development and installation of procedures and controls, to promote
communication and adequate information flow, and thereby solidify management control and direction of the
enterprise.
