There is a scurry for Business Agility as organisations go through a number of transformations
brought about by changing business and technology environments, and accelerated by the Covid-19
Pandemic. Change and Transformation are pervasive and essential, not just to survive, but to thrive.

Research by McKinsey informed us that 70% of transformation projects fail – either fail completely,

"Dynamic Systems Maturity Theory (DSMT). DSMT is the result of research across Organisational
Science, Psychology and Economics to understand organisational system failure mechanisms and
develop enhancements to existing models and change processes, to build agility and reduce
transformation failure rates.
It discusses why transformation projects fail, and what you can do to avoid that happening in your
transformation projects. At the end of this presentation, you will understand what it means for an
organisation to be truly "agile", and how you can go about achieving that in your organisation.

During the Pandemic many Organisations changed or adjusted their Business & Operating Models, this often involved the adoption of New Digital Technologies or the extension and reconfiguration of existing technologies. Work Teams & Job Roles changed for many and of course sadly many people lost their jobs. For many organisations the ‘Buzz Words’ became a reality to survive ‘Agility’, ‘Collaboration’, ‘Digital Transformation’, ‘Productivity’, ‘Culture Change’, ‘Innovation’ The term ‘Digital Transformation’ became better understood for some it meant significant change to the Offerings, Products & Services, and Business Model, for others it involved digitization of an existing process such as eMarketing, eSales & eDistribution which had a pervasive impact on a significant number of stakeholders.

And how might that impact us? • What is our vision, mission, aims and objectives for the next 3 years and for the next 12 months in detail.? • Is there a solid business case for continuity with a new or revised vision, mission and objectives? • What new resources (Technologies, Materials, Information, Service Providers, Finance etc.) will we require? • What will the short- and medium-term future of work look like for our people? • What new Capabilities do we require to achieve the objectives?
