CAREER HISTORY
June 2015- December 2015: Near East Security Services (Lukoil Contract) – Iraq, employed as a Team
Leader of a Commercial Security Team providing protection and security for visiting clients in the Basrah AOR
on the Lukoil contract, providing protection for clients around the West Qurna Oil fields.
April 2015-June 2015: Algiz Security -Limassol, employed as a team member on an RST contract,
conducting 12-hour shift rotations, securing clients assets.
June 2011- February 2015: Near East Security Services (Lukoil Contract) – Iraq, employed as a Team
Leader of a Commercial Security Team providing protection and security for visiting clients in the Basrah AOR
on the Lukoil contract, providing protection for clients around the West Qurna Oil fields and working from the
Baghdad Office in the International Zone conducting VVIP and VIP delegations.
January 2011-June 2011: Unity Resources Group (Australian Embassy Contract) – Iraq, employed as a
PSD team member, providing protection for Embassy officials.
September 2009-December 2010: Unity Resources Group (NDI Contract) –Iraq. Employed as a
Medic/PSD, Providing Protection for clients on the National Democratic Institute contract whilst they attend
meetings in the Iraqi Parliament.
March 2009-September 2009: Armor Group: (AUL Contract) – Iraq. Employed as a Team Leader in Umm
Qasr port as part of a four-man team escorting freight Iraq wide.
May 2006- Feb 2009: Unity Resources Group (RTI Contract) - Iraq. Employed as an Ops Manager/Team
Leader, Operator and Medic carrying out Personal Security Details (PSDs) and providing Medical cover.
May 2005-Dec 2005: Armor Group (PWC Contract) - Iraq. Worked out of Umm Qasr port as an Operator
carrying out Convoy Escort, PSD duties and providing Medical cover.
1989 -2005: Her Majesty’s Armed Forces (ARMY INFANTRY)
 Deployed to Iraq as part of the 3rd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment (Duke of Wellington) battle group,
formed part of the Company Commanders rover group and medical support at Company level.
 Spent 2 years working at the Infantry Training Centre, Catterick, training recruits in first aid skills,
carrying out daily sick parades, and providing medical cover for physical activities
 Attended Black Serpent which is a medical course run by Special Forces.
 1998-2002. 6 month operational tour of Northern Ireland, team commander conducting urban and rural
patrolling, also providing medical support.
 Deployed to Kosovo, duties included Regimental Aid Post Corporal, running and accounting for a basic
pharmacy, teaching first aid to the Kosovan Police Service and joint operations with Swedish forces.
 1996-1998. Carried out Public duties at Buckingham Palace; St James’s Palace provided medical
support for the State opening of Parliament, state visits, remembrance parades including Royal Albert
Hall. Posted to Infantry Training Centre Wales for 2 years, teaching first aid to students carrying out
routine sick parades and providing medical cover for physical activities.
 1994-1996. Deployed to Bosnia as part of UNPROFOR. Deployed to Northern Ireland as part of the
Armagh Rulement Battalion, where I was employed as Company medic/rifleman, performed as team
commander of a 4-man team in a rifle platoon and administered low level tactics.
 1991-1994. Deployed to Egypt with the Multinational Force and Observers, a US lead mission, carrying
out joint patrolling, monitoring and inspecting controlled zones between Egypt and Israel.
 1989-1991. Joined the 3rd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment (Duke of Wellington) after completing 19
weeks basic training; duties and responsibilities included camp security, rifleman/section second in
command, accounting for ammunition, basic tactics, barrack discipline, minor leadership.
