OUR COMMITMENT
MESSAGE FROM THE CEO
We at Alpha are totally focused on being that one constant in an unpredictable economy that customers,
employees, suppliers and other stakeholders have come to rely upon.
All our efforts are directed at ensuring that our customers never receive less than what has been
promised to them. This can be seen in the attitude of everyone at Alpha where we constantly strive to
exceed customers’ expectations.
Developing new fabric designs is a passion at Alpha. Creating an exciting extraordinary new collection of
products for every season to delight our customers is the raison d’etre of the organisation.
Injecting more and more quality in our products is the creed by which our technical people live. They keep
on fixing things that are not broken, because they know that they can always make any good product even
better.
Alpha ensures that its projects and its manufacturing processes never encroach upon its sacred
commitment to protect the environment. At Alpha, preserving the environment is not for
collecting awards, to which it has a claim to many. It is a religion.
KOMAEN CHATRIRAT

FRESH AIR
The Alpha Group is leading the textile world with an ambitious program to measure and monitor its
carbon footprint at each stage of production. Working with the Thailand Greenhouse Organization,
Alpha was able to determine that its combined production processes are up to 38% lower when
compared to the globally recognized Life Cycle Inventory Database. Efficiencies in certain processes
such as dyeing showed as much as 50% less carbon footprint when compared to industry standards.
respectively showed improvements in Alpha’s
already impressive low carbon footprint
performance results.
Alpha’s excellence in the area of carbon
reduction and overall low carbon usage
resulted in being awarded special recognition
by the Thailand Energy Minister for its efforts.
Studies completed and compared in 2011 and 2013

ENVIRONMENTALLY
RESPONSIBLE
•Use of recycled materials
Recycled Biomass from a nearby furniture factory is being used as the alternative fuel source replacing the
use of oil to power the high temperature thermic heaters and steam producing boilers.
•Water conservation and usage
With constant focus and determination, the Alpha Processing division has been able to establish processes
to treat and recycle 100% water used in its various stages of production. Achieving this result earned
special recognition in the form of a Zero Effluent Discharge Award from the Government of Thailand.
•Zero landfill
A current undertaking is one of working toward Zero Landfill. With a strong focus in this area, Alpha
hopes to achieve this goal in the not too distant future.
Between 2006 and 2011 Alpha
was recognized with five energy awards
including overall Best Organization
in 2007 for its commitment to
constant improvement in energy
consumption.
