I seek to replicate Math Corps (Detroit) in Philadelphia. Math Corps brings motivated urban youth from the 30% in math achievement to the 90% with 80% of them going to college. Math Corps has been featured on PBS. Watch Math Corps's 5 minute video at http://www.mathcorps.com. Living Math Corps for 1 week in the summer of 2009, I understand where its synergy and success come from.
