4. What are the Goals?
Education: Members who have the opportunity to earn education
awards are reaching their goals.
Membership: When new members join, everyone’s experience is
enhanced because your club has enough members to provide
leadership and fill meeting and committee assignments.
Training: Trained club officers are better able to serve and
support your club because they know how best to fulfil their
roles.
Administration: Fulfilling administrative duties, including
submitting information on time, helps your club run more
smoothly, which benefits members.

5. How does it Work?
Running from 1 July to 30 June, a club
has the opportunity to early a maximum
for 10 points.
A club with 5 points is known as a
Distinguished Club
A club with 7 points is known as a
Select Distinguished Club
A club with 9 points is known as a
President’s Distinguished Club

6. How does a Club earn
Points?
Education & Leadership (6 points)
Two Competent Communication Awards gives 1 point
Two more Competent Communication Awards gives 1 point
An Advanced Communication Award gives 1 point
An additional Advanced Communication Award gives 1 point
A Competent or Advanced Leadership or Distinguished Toastmaster Award
gives 1 point
An additional Competent or Advanced Leadership or Distinguished
Toastmaster Award gives 1 point

7. How does a Club earn
Points?
Membership Development (2 points)
Four New members gives 1 point
Four more New members gives 1 point
(a club needs to have a minimum of 20 members or to
have added 5 new members to be “Distinguished”)

8. How does a Club earn
Points?
Training (1 point)
Four Club Officers need to attend each of the two
Club Officer Training sessions (July & January)

9. How does a Club earn
Points?
Administration (1 point)
Payments for renewing members need to be
submitted to World Headquarters on time (October
10 and April 10)
A list of next year’s Club Officers needs to be
submitted to WHQ before June 30*
*the outgoing Leadership Team is responsible for this
