Advanced through positions ofincreasing responsibility in the planning, management and execution of complex logistics
operations for the USMC, worldwide. Managed up to 10 direct reports; and 80 indirect reports.
Notable Accomplishments:
MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT OFFICER, 2013-2016: Oversee the ground material readiness of
equipment of Marine Corps forces assigned to Combatant Commander’s. This included establishing supply
distribution networks for equipment. Conducted training and oversight of supply accountability and maintenance
production. I Analyzed unit AA&E accounts for over 20 units.I Conducted Technical Reference and Policy
reviews for AA&E programs and technical references.
COMPANY COMMANDER 2011-2013: Served as the Company Commander for Ordnance Maintenance
Company, 3d Maintenance Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 35, 3d Marine Logistics Group, 3d Marine
Expeditionary Force (MEF) Okinawa Japan. Successfully led a Company of 220 Marines in the conduct of
General Support Maintenance for all small arms weapons, electro optics and lasers, howitzers, amphibious assault
vehicles, motor transport vehicles, and engineer assets.Accomplishments included a reorganization the unit’s
AA&E program. As a result, the unit received perfect score for AA&E on the unit’s Marine Corps Base,
Commanding General’s Inspection, and Field Supply Maintenance Analysis Office (FSMAO) inspections.
ANALYST 2008 to 2011: In June of 2008, Served as an Officer In Charge (OIC) and as the Team Three
Ordnance analyst. Analyzed over 100 unit Arms Ammunition and Explosives unit account. Conducted one on
one training to unit personnelon how to manage their unit ammunition inventories, submit malfunction reports,
maintain ammunition accountability records, screening Marines for AA&E duties, and maintaining AA&E
personnelrecords.
GROUND ORDNANACE OFFICER 2005 to 2008: Assigned as the School Ordnance and AA&E Officer,
School of Infantry West (SOI-W) Camp Pendleton CA. During this time period, I reviewed and recommended
several weapons technical manuals and field manuals. The reviews resulted in several technical data changes. As
the AA&E Officer, I submitted several malfunction reports and mishap reports. I Coordinated with NWS
Fallbrook (Gunner Pruitt and Mr. Mike Lewis) to work the ammunition lot and weapons investigations involved. I
went several times to Hawthorn NV with the weapons and ammunition involved to help determine the root cause
of the malfunctions. This resulted in some of the lot numbers being suspended fromMarine inventories and
several weapons technical data changes.
