2. Identity
M6 Diesel
Creation of a new identity
for M6 Diesel, a petroleum
distribution company with
ten UK sites.
Identity is now used on all
stationery and apparel, and
will be rolled out with a signage
refurbishment / renewal
program across the country.
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
3. Illustration
Water posters
Part of a series of three large
format posters on the theme
“water”, conceptualised with
the intention of capturing the
volatility and complexity of
water solely with line. Keeping
the images solely monotone
focus the viewer on the activity
of the water.
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
4. Print
Guinness POS
Management of a large project
for Guinness Africa, involving
the creation of a catalogue of
items that would be distributed
across Africa, and the design of
all items within that catalogue.
Dealing directly with the client
and the buying members of
my team we proposed items
that were suitable for the
specific requirements of
the African markets. I also
worked on the identity of the
new “Reach for Greatness”
campaign which was also
being worked on by Saatchi.
I designed and artworked
approximately 15 print items
including large format banners
and posters, and arranged
online delivery of the artwork
to suppliers across Africa so
they could be produced locally.
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
5. Brochure
Sign Technology Ltd
Part of a targeted marketing
approach by the company,
focusing on three specific
markets, and utilising the
identity and strategies as
developed by myself to
increase enquiries and sales
by way of information about
the company’s services.
The identity has been used
on all literature, exhibition
stands, and local marketing,
with measurable success, and
will soon be implemented on
the web.
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
6. Glassware
Grolsch
One of a range of concepts for
the pint and half pint glass to be
used in UK pubs & bars.
The top 3 glass manufacturers
in Europe also presented more
than 60 design concepts
for the client’s perusal.
One of my designs (left)
was selected as one of 4 in
total from all tenderers to
be considered in final-round
discussions before the project
was taken in-house.
The product that made it to
market has strong similarities to
this original concept.
PRODUCT DESIGNER

Jose Cuervo
Design in Rhino 3D of a shot
tray for the Tequila brand,
which folds shut to enable
better storage in confined
back bar areas.

Gordon’s iconography
to enhance the brand in
targeted retail locations.
PRODUCT DESIGNER
9. Pen
O2
A unique pen design which
forms part of a proposed
merchandise range for O2.
Squeezing the pen
results in the trademark
O2 bubbles appearing behind
a transparent window.
PRODUCT DESIGNER
10. Exhibition
County Buildings,
Staffordshire
County Council
Design of a new light
box capable of displaying
interchangeable graphic prints,
ranging from 500mm to
over 9m wide, to form the
centrepiece of refurbishment
of County Buildings in Stafford.
I worked within the many
constraints and requirements
specified by the architect on
size, light brightness, depth,
as well as the requirement
to have integrated functional
uplighting and decorative
downlighting, and the
requirement to keep costs
manageable, all within
extremely tight timelines.
Working with new technology
and unproven production
methods, the result is an
entirely new product which
is now on permanent display
at SCC headquarters. The
Architect, Charles Brown of
Brownhill Hayward Brown
said the product “exceeded
all expectations”.
PRODUCT DESIGNER
11. Interactive
4C Design
Self-motivated creation
and implementation of an
interactive pdf emailer to
be sent out to clients and
colleagues in order to
inform them of the services
the department could offer,
and provide updates on
progress with important or
interesting projects.

12. Marketing
collateral
4C Associates
Example shown is a map
to guide employees and
visitors to the new 4C offices
around the building and
surrounding area.
This document forms part of
a wide range of internal- and
external-facing collateral,
part of an ongoing project
to revitalise the 4C image,
beginning with flexible brand
guidelines and new approaches
to communication, which were
implemented across all media.
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
13. Textile
Coors Light
A design for a ladies top,
which uses a distressed
version of the Coors Light
logo created by myself.
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
14. Packaging
Impulse
Design work undertaken as
part of a creative pitch for
Unilever, proposing a range
of gift pack concepts aimed
at increasing sales of Impulse
products at Christmas.
Five routes emerged as
strong options, and mood
boards of images, colours
and textures were created
for each one. Following this,
pack and gift ideas for each
route were produced, using
the understanding of the brand
gained from our research.
The project involved taking
responsibility for the quality
of the concepts & final visuals,
and presentation of ideas &
prototypes. The ‘Eco’ range,
part of which is shown,
is designed to reflect the
growing concern in the
Impulse target market for
the environment and interest
in sustainability.
PACKAGING DESIGNER
15. Promotion
Johnnie Walker bars
One of a range of design
options for Johnnie Walker
bar experiences in Africa.
The project involved designing
interior schemes for three
distinctly different bars, and
creating a range of barware
& visibility items that could be
used in each one.

the system through better
promotion of new products.
