Teach and support habits critical to lifelong learning, especially habits and tools that
build success both in secondary school and university.
Create an environment of respect and support for the students to exchange ideas and

Support critical reading, watching and thinking by teaching students to review the
evidence that supports conclusions of authors and experts.
Design multiple strategies to differentiate and support student learning, create and
experiment with means of differentiating assessment.
o Created graphic organizers for use in Spanish Classes. Significantly increased
student understanding in both Spanish and Italian classes.
o Recreated the Economics program to incorporate more real life issues, including
WebQuest for a business plan, internet stock game with research sites and
incorporated Federal Reserve Bank Program, “International Economic Summit.”
o Excellent class management and teaching skills, started mid-semester and raised
average GPA by at least .5 points. Increased student engagement and learning.

in the adoption of iPad 1 to 1 program
o Tutored Social Science faculty and other members of faculty with use of iPad in

o Taught several faculty members the use of Google Drive and Google Docs etc.
Representing the Social Science Department on the Scheduling Committee. Investigating
benefits and implementation of schedules other than the 4x4 Block.
