Finance Manager – Leading Insurer
My client, a market leading Global insurance business, seek a talented Finance Manager for their
growing team.
The business has a major presence in Ireland and as a result of promotion within the team, they require
a qualified accountant at least 1 years PQE for this key role in the finance area.
The ideal person will either be coming from another insurance business and looking for a new challenge
/ opportunity to progress their career, or alternatively be working in a financial reporting role within
another FS business or working within a Big 4 firm within their audit division and looking to make a first
step out.

The role:
Minimum of 5 year’s experience in the financial services sector, or similar experience in a financial
reporting role.
Excellent knowledge of insurance accounting and regulatory reporting requirements.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
Excellent presentation and report writing skills.
Must be self-motivated and possess excellent organisational skills.
Demonstrate experience of coordinating and delivering highly accurate output in an environment
of multiple deadlines.
Proven ability to manage and complete a variety of projects simultaneously.
The Person:
Primary degree in accounting/finance related discipline.
Professional accountancy qualification (qualified).
2-3 years of people management experience within the financial services sector with a successful
track record of delivery.
Strong experience in managing, mentoring and coaching staff.
Advanced excel and powerpoint skills.
Experience with SAP ERP/BI an advantage.
A knowledge of current insurance accounting issues and Solvency II would be an advantage
