Thomas likes to push the limits of what relational open-source databases are capable of. Having worked at the intersection of business and technology in venture financed start-ups in Norway, Germany and the US, Thomas enjoys bringing customer requirements and great technologies together. With Intel’s push of the Field Programmable Gate Array as an accelerator into the server market, Swarm64 is joining in and teaching established databases new tricks. Thomas has a background in managing IT projects for Lufthansa Systems. After his MBA from Lancaster, UK, he journeyed into the start-up world and held various C-level roles before founding Swarm64.
