Many a time future is a like a blanks slide you don’t know even if something is written there…
In the popular TV show, Game of Thrones, the denizens of the North often repeat the mantra, “Winter is coming” to remind themselves and others that they must continually prepare for the challenges ahead.
Much like the “Winter,” the future is always vague, promising unforeseen events that are devilishly hard to prepare for in any concrete way.
Barring an image every thing is all good and hunky dory…bulllet trains multi layered flyover but there is one thing which we know about future
These are all hopeful images As I realise googling an image an interesting way to see what is that people believing about it
It is all optimism hope….
Gartner analyst Laura McLellan recently predicted that by 2017, CMOs will spend more on IT than their counterpart CIOs.
At first, that prediction may sound a bit over the top. (In just five years from now, CMOs are going to be spending more on IT than CIOs do?) But, consider this: 1) As we all know, marketing is becoming increasingly technology-based, 2) Harnessing and mastering Big Data is now key to achieving competitive advantage, and 3) Many marketing budgets already are larger –and faster growing –than IT budgets.
What about SME – Kissmetrics / Google Analytics/
Need to understand data – else boom. It is not a mathematics
We all need to learn how to derive insight from the data.
Esp startup and SME
Far long marketing was an art and not it is becoming science with creativity
Collaboration and coopetition especially small /startup/ less budges
