15. WHAT YOU
WILL NEED
A half a pound of
hamburger
1 Package of flour tortillas
1 - 20 oz. jar of Western
Salsa
1 1/2 cup of shredded
cheese (your preference)
A Glass 9x13 pan
Whether you want to enjoy Western Salsa by itself as a snack with some tortilla
chips or you want to turn it into a meal the whole family can enjoy, we are sure
that you’ll get the best flavored salsa this side of the border. Western Salsa is
filled with your favorite fresh ingredients; fresh tomatoes, onions, 2 kinds of
peppers, garlic, and our special mix of spices.
Western Enchilades
1. Prepare the ground beef by cooking and draining off the fat.
2. Add three quarters of the jar of Western Salsa to the pan mixing it in
real good with the ground beef.
3. Lay out 1 tortilla at a time on a plate and generously scoop the Salsa
and ground beef combination onto the center of the tortilla, then wrap
one side over the center and roll the tortilla up in a roll. Place in the 9x13
pan. Continue til you’ve used up the tortillas or the Salsa and ground
beef mixture.
4. Add the remaining Western Salsa to the top of the tortilla rolls, and
then cover them with the cheese.
5. Place in the oven that has been preheated at 350 and bake for 30
minutes til tortillas are soft and the cheese is melted to perfection.
6. Serve with rice and/or beans if desired.
Makes 2 to 4 servings.
