Daniel Ryley began working with us at One&Only Hayman Island as part of the opening
team of Guest Services in June 2014.!
Daniel joint the team as a Porter in a team of five.!
Daniel had very little responsibility when joining the team and as a student was vigilant in
ensuring he was gaining the most knowledge possible during his time on placement, even
if this meant working outside of his set tasks.!

Within the first month Daniel excelled well beyond his immediate requirements and our
expectations given his age and minimal experience. Since then we have put a lot of
responsibility and trust in Daniel and he always manages to impress and remain above
standard. He is now considered one of our most senior colleagues in the Guest Services
team, which is certainly not a title obtained due to his length of employment or age, rather
his work ethic and willingness to achieve above his job description.!

Daniel consistently sets a great example among his colleagues and is always willing to
lend a hand to his fellow team mates. He has played a strong hand in training new
colleagues who have joined the team after him, which was not a task delegated to him,
rather a task he put on himself and was successful in completing.!
He works well under pressure and is innovative and shows a lot of initiative when working
under minimal supervision and with little to no assistance at times. !
It has been an absolute pleasure having Daniel as part of our team and I would have no
hesitations in recommending him for any future aspirations he may have nor would I
hesitate in re-hiring him at the completion of his studies.!

Daniel has a bright future ahead of him and any employer that accepts him would be
privileged to be a part of it.!
