Social skills and competences Thanks to my scholarship as an IT professional in my university I have teamwork and managing
people skills, and thanks to my lifeguard experience I can remain calm in situations of crisis. In
addition being the student representative of a whole campus got me used to work with professors
and students and I’m used to the needs of finding fast solutions to complex problems. In my work
for the Ministry of Education I've had to go to meetings to negotiate the characteristics of the
software. My most recent work in project PERIGEO has provided me with an overview on the
development of large industrial projects. In addition I have gained an understanding of the inner
workings of industrial business and the economic repercussions of the decision making process
during projects.
Organisational skills and
competences
I have certain experience on managing crisis situations of small groups of people due to my work
as a lifeguard. I have acted as project manager in the projects for the Ministry of Education, Gas
Natural Fenosa. I have experience assigning and overseeing work tasks and designing work
planning, as well as with ensuring team work and communication. I have experience negotiating
software requisites with clients and higher-ups as well as negotiating large scale technological
purchases from international providers.
Artistic skills and competences I can work myself with Photoshop and other image editing programs; also I have basic knowledge
of technical drawing and can make 3D scenes in POV-ray.
Other skills and competences I train Taekwondo with the World Taekwondo Federation but I do not go into professional
tournaments. In this association I am a student as well as an instructor, since I’ve been training
self-defence for over twelve years.

Additional information I like to always make an effort and keep an open mid in every situation, because new ideas and
knowledge can come from anywhere and anyone, so I try to not judge beforehand and without
diving in the matter and informing me first. I try to live my everyday life with a sceptic and humble
attitude so I can learn and create from that knowledge.
During my studies I needed to develop three large projects in my own. The first one was an
academic project under the guidance of Professor Jose Daniel Garcia Sanchez of the ARCOS
department in Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in the subject of defining a standard interface for
the Level 1 of the BLAS specification for C++ language and did a non-threaded implementation of
said interface in C++ language. I expect to complete the interface and add multithreaded
implementations of it eventually. The second one was my bachelor’s thesis, directed by
Professors Antonio Berlanga de Jesus and Luis Miguel Sanchez García. I developed an image
recognition application using the concept of the Hausdorff distance under C++ in both sequential
and muli-threaded implementations, helping myself with additional functionality of OpenCV. The
last one has been my master’s thesis directed by Professor Javier Fernández Muñoz. I proposed
a new methodology for systems engineering projects tailored with the European standards.
