2. Motion nation becomes conceptual
architectural
The layout diagrams are not just conceptual ar-
chitecture, they also embody an element of motion
notation.
Perhaps the strongest notion represented is
one of interaction amongst different elements, illus-
trating how elements relate to one another regard-
less of their random
organization or even strong contrasting effects by
the solid hatching in some shapes.

Design Concept: Breaking down social structures
in architectural spaces
Architecture is both about space and about the events that take place in that space. Events are creat-
ed when we interact with space as part of daily rituals such as movement of bodies through spaces or
interaction amongst bodies within the space.
The project looks at social spaces like Las Vegas, bars, nights clubs Etc. spaces that celebrate both
uniqueness and diversity. Thus; the social structure is irrelevant as you would not have to be of a
certain class or background to gain access.
The proposal to design a water park is driven from the concept to create an architecture that is both
functional as a water park and to provide the society with an environment of diversified integration
for the greater good. Social spaces where one`s class is not a deciding factor in the accessibility of the
spaces or enjoying the fun the activities of the water park. Thus, creating spaces where people can
interact, connect and enhance their interpersonal relationships without limitations.
3. Masterplan
Scale 1:2500
Taking the conceptual design
from 3D form into 2D plans, to
further test in the site context
while deconstructing the forms
and shapes to form spaces.
This willfurther be improved
and adjusted in according
to the project brief and site
context.

On site water treatment
from River Thames
Water treatment plant location on site.
The location for the water treatment plant on site is selected
on the strategic bases, the aim is to distance it as far away
as possible from the water park also to have a less interfer-
ence with the outdoor actives and spaces. The main reason
to this, is the industrial aspect of the facility which involves
processing of dirty and contaminated water into a clean and
safe water which is to be pumped into park for both person
use as washing, and park water actives like swimming
pools, sliding tubes.

New Route
This new bridge creates a new route which change
the rituals within the area. It does not only change
the ritual within the site area but also the flow of
people towards and from the site and hence the
traffic of movement.
The project is based in the city of Lincoln, Lincolnshire. The pro-
posal to design an art centre is driven from the concept of creating
a building that celebrates the both the history and culture of Lin-
coln, also to engage with the community through all forms of arts.
11. Relationship between spaces.
Most of the spaces have a connection to one
another, which can be demonstrated through
their functionality, the good example being
exhibition space and studios as both spaces are
mainly performance space and will most like
have similar qualities such as light requirement.
There are also spaces that server the same
function but location on different floors.

Structural columns/ load bearing.
These columns are main support to the
building, together with the foundation,
they provide a sustainable stability to the
building floors.
