- Nos clients nous interpellent de plus en plus fréquemment sur des critères de développement durable et sont sensibles à notre proposition de valeur. Nous devons être capables de leur indiquer très précisément ce que va leur apporter l’intégration d’une solution “Green”. L’arrivée de la taxe carbone va très certainement accélérer cette demande. La mise en place inéluctable de “mécanismes carbone” et règlementations associées va nous obliger dans les années à venir à mesurer très précisément l’empreinte carbone de nos solutions mais aussi les économies carbone qu’elles génèrent, ce qui peut représenter une formidable opportunité commerciale ! Conscient de cette évolution, nous avons travaillé depuis déjà plus d’un an avec Orange Consulting et Orange Labs pour mesurer l’impact réel de nos solutions Business Everywhere, Teleprésence et Forfait informatique. Pour ce faire nous avons réalisé des Analyses de Cycle de Vie sur ces 3 solutions puis procédé à des analyses comparatives pour mesurer l’impact net en terme d’économie de CO2. Ces travaux ont été mené avec l’aide d’une société indépendante externe : Ecointesys. Nous avons communiqué sur cette démarche proactive, qui a été largement appréciée par les analystes du marché et nous a aidé en partie à être reconnus par Verdantix comme le leader européen des télécoms durables. L’idée est aujourd’hui d’étendre progressivement cette démarche à l’ensemble de nos solutions.
