1. Describe the nature of the relationship with Damian (eg direct manager).
I was Damian’s direct manager at RAW Marketing.
2. Confirm employment record, including position, responsibilities, start and finish dates
(month/year).
Damian worked as a Brand Ambassador for many international brands we worked on behalf of. He
represented in brand and communicated a clear brand message to target customers. He was also
involved with some of our outdoor events through rigging. Damian worked from May 2013-April
2014.
3. Confirm remuneration details. Where possible confirm each of the following components:
base, superannuation, bonus/commission.
Damian received between 10 and 15 euro an hour, depending on the client and the nature of the
job.
4. What were the key technical aspects of the role and how well did Damian perform them?
Damian was one of our most dedicated brand ambassadors at RAW Marketing. Becoming a brand
ambassador meant that Damian was automatically a marketing representative of the brand we were
working on behalf of. Damian understood the market he was working in all the time and his role
within it. He underwent training to improve his skills. Damian has excellent organizational skills and
face-to-face marketing skills.
5. What key behaviours/personal attributes were required to successfully perform this role and
how well did Damian demonstrate these?
Damian is extremely reliable and always delivered effectively and efficiently on every project he was
involved with. He is flexible and could fit into a variety of projects within the company. He has great
people skills and was a particularly good ambassador for our clients.
6. People skills
a. Who did this role require Damian to liaise with on a regular basis and how well did they
communicate with them?
Damian has to liaise with his fellow team-members, (brand ambassadors), members of the public,
RAW Marketing management and RAW Marketing clients on a regular basis.

b. Was Damian responsible for managing people? If so, please comment on their management
skills and style of management.
Damian took on a team leader role for some projects. He would have been in charge of coordinating
and managing his fellow brand ambassadors.
7. What do you consider to be their main strengths? (This could include technical skills,
personal attributes and anything else of relevance.)
Punctuality, reliability and flexibility. Damian was one of our most reliable brand ambassadors and a
very efficient employee. He has excellent communication skills and is a great people person.
8. Please describe any areas for improvement you observed; eg where additional support or
training may be required (this could include technical skills, personal attributes and anything
else of relevance, please provide examples).
None.
9. What were their significant achievements whilst with your organisation?
Damian was promoted to Team Leader in January 2014, after working as a Brand Ambassador
previous.
10. To what level do you think they met the desired objectives of the role? Please provide
examples.
As previously stated, Damian met the objectives of his role effectively and efficiently. He never
failed to deliver on every job he was involved with.
11. What style of management does Damian respond best to?
RAW Marketing is an enterprise that practises flat hierarchies and uses a participative style of
management. Damian worked excellently in this type of environment as initiative is encouraged.
12. What was the level of drive and motivation that they displayed whilst with your organisation?
Damian was highly motivated and had excellent drive throughout his time in the company.

Damian was never absent or late.

High level.
15. Health & Safety is a critical component of every workplace. Please describe Damian’s

We can no issues at all. He was a great approach to the above.

Damian left the company to explore employment opportunities in Australia.

manager.

Very suitable.

Damian was a pleasure to work with and one of our most reliable employees at RAW Marketing, He
showed excellent initiative throughout his time in the company and I would be delighted to
recommend him for future employment.
