 Conceptualizing, planning and designing the backward integration process of raw material handling system of
Aluminum, smelter with highly automated supply chain management.
 Drawing preparation, validation and lay out finalization of Alumina Handling System of 42000 ton capacity and pot
room residual Recycling System in collaboration with Engineers India limited and M/s Rio Tinto, France.
 Process owner for erection, commissioning, Maintenance and operation of value stream components and
equipment of the system i.e Air Slides, Belt Conveyor, Pipe Conveyor, Hoppers, Structures, Compressors, Blowers,
Pipe Line, Fans for various make and size.
 Totally involved in the Erection and commissioning of Alumina Handling system comprises 3200 MT of structural
part, commissioning of Belt Conveyor of 500mtr and pipe conveyor of 1.2KM with two bends of 60 degree and 90
degree, air lift , air slides, blowers, compressors, bad filter etc.
 Design and erection of automated maintenance and trial bay of alumina handling system
 Responsible for maintaining other allied systems i.e technical & commercial negotiation for vendor finalization,
departmental budget preparation & material inspection, preparing bid evaluation document,
 Imparting training to internal customers on the system as internal trainer.
 Member of a internal committee for devising operational, maintenance and quality strategy for alumina system.
 Convener of technical committee comprising of several vendors, Engineers India Limited, Rio Tinto, France
constituted for smooth coordination. Conducting on site monthly meeting for problem solving and devising
relevant matrices for future references.

2.  Pipe Conveyor:- Successfully commissioned Pipe Conveyor of 1.2 KM, 200 mm Dia., 150 TPH capacity, supplied by
Elecon and CKIT(design) with two curves of 60 degree and 90 degree

 Alumina Handling System is commissioned 03 month before the target date and current under operation
 Undergone a Technical training at RIO TINTO ALCAN – Institute Paul Héroult (IPH), France on Handling and Storage.
2.Powermech (BALCO 1200MW) (Oct 2010 TO May 2011)

 Involved in the Erection and commissioning of mechanical part of the plant i.e L.P And HIP turbine and Generator and

 Internal trainer with a monthly target of 0.5 man days
