2. Project Description:
Project 1: Crimson Population Risk Management (CPRM) is a health care project
that helps hospitals to manage total cost and quality for defined populations. Total
Amount spent for Per Member per Month (PMPM) across 12 months plan is
calculated and compared against the Benchmarks to find the discrepancies in the
Amount Paid/Allowed. Hospitals are regularly advised on the Benefit plans which
helps the Patients/Members generously in in terms of co-pays and visits caps. This
also includes the self-insured employee plans. Predicts and informs risk-based
contract negotiations with payers.
Project Life cycle
 Perform Extract, Transform and Load.
 Create the diagnostics report, to check the data trend – performing
corrections and data checks using SQL; and the report is sent to the client
 Loading the data to the internal tables by benchmarking calculations.
 Schema checks, Unit testing, data trend analysis and trend fix is done
before QA
 Production migration on thorough checking on the staging database
