NUTRIA HELLAS established in 2004, is part of the 40 years’ long activities of its founder, Dimitris
Tsolakis, an agronomist, animal husbandry specialist and economist.
The company is an enterprise based on accumulative knowledge, long experience, sound
organization and high goals, propelling the modernization of Greek livestock industry, over and
above its financial targets.
The company addresses the needs of all animal populations that either...... swim, or walk or fly as
well as, the processing units of their respective products.
The company:
 Produces and distributes feed additives (premixes, nuclei, balancers, protein concentrates,
etc.) supplying farms and feed industries.
 Produces and distributes special metabolism balancers and enhancers for livestock and
companion animals (feed specialties-‘superfeeds’)
 Provides scientific expertise and management services to farms, animal feed plants and
livestock products processing units.
 Is the distributor (since November of 2013), and the exclusive representative for Greece and
the Balkans, of the British company EVANS VANODINE PLC’s products for the comprehensive
cleaning and disinfection of livestock establishments as well as all the animal and vegetable
food processing industries. The production of the EVANS VANODINE products, is
planned to begin in Greece within 2016 under a license agreement with EVANS
VANODINE INTERNATIONAL PLC.
NUTRIA HELLAS staff consist mainly of scientists (agronomists – animal husbandry specialists,
veterinarians, chemists, economists) and highly trained staff, capable to respond to the needs of
modern production facilities for sophisticated and specialized products.
The company network, apart from Aspropyrgos’ HQ, includes a net of branches in operation or
planned covering all the Greek regions from the Greek Thrace in the North-East to Epirus in the
West, down to Peloponnese and the island of Crete to the South. The company is also represented
in Balkan countries.
NUTRIA HELLAS, continuing a longstanding social contribution through the development and
introduction of innovations, contributed and contributes effectively during the crisis years, by
increasing staff threefold, creating eight new jobs.
