The students noticed poor garbage disposal habits in their community with trash piling up and attracting mosquitoes and disease. They discussed the issue with mentors and the local councilor. The students created awareness posters and held a rally to educate over 100 families on the ill effects of garbage. They also performed skits to explain how piled trash can spread problems. The students collected signatures committing residents to use designated dumping areas. This led to the installation of a new garbage bin and gradual behavior change as more people began properly disposing of their trash. The community leaders were surprised by the students' energy and dedication in creating positive change.
