Nursing
Baccalaureate nursing education incorporates
knowledge from natural sciences, social sciences and
nursing. The goal of the nursing program is to prepare
a generalist professional nurse to practice in current
and future healthcare delivery systems.
Nutrition
Get prepared for successful food, nutrition, and
dietetics careers! A human nutrition -- dietetics major
is the first step to becoming a registered dietitian
nutritionist (RDN) dietetic technician, registered
certified food protection professional (DTR); or
certified dietary manager.
One World One Water Center
We strive to prepare an educated, empowered,
solution-oriented Colorado citizenry to protect and
preserve our precious water resources. The water
studies minor and water studies certificate will
provide students with skills necessary to become more
knowledgeable of Colorado’s limited water resources,
and how to preserve this most precious resource.
ROTC
Our program is one of the most respected ROTC in
the United States and dates back to 1918. We assist
students in becoming the future leaders of the United
States Army by developing their leadership abilities and
instilling responsibility, integrity, and a sense of pride

Industrial Design
Industrial designers use innovation to create and
develop solutions that optimize function, value, and
appearance of products that make our lives more
comfortable, pleasurable, and efficient. Industrial
design is a stimulating field that requires creativity,
perception, and the ability to demonstrate ideas
through different mediums.
Journalism and
Technical Communication
In both traditional classrooms and a unique online
environment students apply underlying theories,
principles, and aesthetics of their respective discipline
to communicate. Students create concise, informative
messages for a variety of media, including traditional
and interactive print, video, audio, interactive and
social media, or a combination of formats.
Aviation and Aerospace Science
Our graduates are working in all areas of aviation
as professional aviators, aviation managers, airport
planners, air traffic controllers, flight dispatchers, and
more. Our students have the opportunity to combine
study in aerospace science, physics, and engineering
to seek new opportunities in the aerospace industry.
Criminal Justice and Criminology
A fast-growing field where students can explore the
functions and interactions among police, courts,
and corrections systems. Classes range from human
behavior and social structure to management principles
and supervisory skills.
Engineering and
Engineering Technology
We achieve our mission to be the preeminent
baccalaureate institution by producing graduates well-
versed in the art of applying science to engineering
positions in the work place. We are an ABET accredited
department. The designation enables our graduates
to become licensed engineers by passing FE and
PE exams.
