2. What Is Cancer?
❏ Cancer is a dreadful disease in which the abnormal cells starts to grow
uncontrollably and destroy the body tissues.

4. Breast Anatomy
❏ The major parts of breasts are Lobe, Duct, Nipple, Areola & Lymph nodes.
Each breast has 15 to 20 lobes that surrounds the nipple like a wheel spokes.
❏ The lobes are further divided into smaller sections called lobules. It will
produce milk for breastfeeding.
❏ The lobules are connected to small tubes called ducts. These ducts will carry
the milk towards nipple.
❏ Areola is the dark area that surrounds the nipple in the center. The areola
contains small glands and it will helps to lubricate the nipple during
breastfeeding.
❏ Breasts also contains blood vessels & lymphatic nodes. Between lobes &
ducts fatty tissues are present.

10. Diagnosis Of Breast Cancer
We can diagnose breast cancer at the earliest by using the followed tests.
● Mammogram - Mammogram is an imaging test that will detect any tumor or
cancerous spot on the breast at the earliest.
● Ultrasound - Ultrasound uses sound waves to examine the tissue in the
breast.
● Breast biopsy - If both mammogram & ultrasound can’t find the cancer, the
doctor will prescribe breast biopsy.
