4. SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION – EGLINTON SQUARE

• Crews will be constructing final sidewalks at the four corners of the Eglinton Ave E and Eglinton Square intersection
• Closure of one eastbound and westbound lane at the intersection.
• Closure of the northbound lane at the intersection for construction activities on the east side.
• Closure of one southbound lane at the intersection for construction activities on the west side.
• The east crosswalk will be closed while crews are working on the east side.
• All crosswalks will be open while crews work on the west side.

5. SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION – HAKIMI AND LEBOVIC AVE AT EGLINTON AVE E

• Crews will be constructing final sidewalks at the four corners
of the Eglinton Ave E and Hakimi Lebovic Ave intersection.
Work on the east side will take place November 18 –
November 27, 2020
• The Eglinton Ave driveways for 1910 and 1920 Eglinton Ave
E will be closed for one week. Alternate driveways will
remain accessible on Hakimi Ave and Eglinton Ave E for the
duration of the works.
• Closure of one eastbound and westbound lane at the
intersection.
• Closure of one northbound lane at the intersection for
construction activities on the east side of the intersection.

10. CURRENT TRAFFIC CONFIGURATION
EGLINTON AVENUE EAST AND KENNEDY ROAD INTERSECTION

• Crews will be performing road works within the four
corners of the Eglinton Ave East and Kennedy
Road intersection.
• A shared through and right turn lane will be
implemented for northbound and southbound traffic
at the intersection.
• Periodic crosswalk closures will be required to
complete the work. A minimum of three crosswalks
will be maintained all times. Signage will be
installed directing pedestrians to available
crosswalks.

Traffic Details:
 Vehicles entering Transway Crescent will not be
permitted beyond the Kennedy Station Passenger Pick-
Up and south parking lot access points.
 Signal timing will be changed at Kennedy Road as well
as the North and South Service Road to accommodate
these changes.
 Right turn from eastbound lane on Eglinton and left turn
from westbound lane on Eglinton onto South Service Rd
will be prohibited.
 Left turn from eastbound lane on Eglinton onto North
Service Rd will be prohibited.
 Traffic entering South Service Road will be restricted to
TTC vehicles only.

12. GO WEST PLATFORM RELOCATION AND PEDESTRIAN DETOUR

• As part of GO Transit improvements at
Kennedy GO Station, crews at Kennedy
Station will be temporarily relocating the
west GO Transit platform as early as
August 17, 2020.
• Pedestrians will be rerouted through the
Kennedy TTC Station
• This configuration will remain in place for
approximately one year.
