In the 1960âs and 1970âs sales begin to slowly increase as the economy was in full recovery and the war was over. This was also the beginning of gender equality, and was highly reflective in economy as women began to shop and dress more appealing. Lastly, in the 1980âs to 1990âs fashion sales sky-rocketed as economic times became prosperous, women were making their way into the career world, and Canada saw itâs first female Prime Minister.
