• During certain periods of time at the gym the weights are not
put away which can cause disorganization which can get out of
hand real quick
• The gym attendants constantly remind the gym goers to put the
weights away and sometimes come into the gym to do it
themselves

3. • In this photo the weights
are left on the machine
and disorganized. This
could be fixed by putting
up signs at places where
weight disorganization is
the greatest.

4. • To encourage people to rack there weights they could simply
put up a better sign over the weight holder that reminds gym-
goers to do so
• Design Tip: To encourage people to select a specific option,
make it the default; likewise to discourage people from selecting
an option, don’t make it the default.
