Mission
At CTS, we provide high quality customer service. We strive to create a culture of teamwork with
positive communication to drive company innovation and ensure customers receive the most cost
effective and energy efficient cooling towers, empowering their company to meet and exceed their
desired thermal performance and production goals for your water-cooled equipment.
Vision
Our vision is to support all
involved in the cooling
tower industry to be
proactive in selecting
equipment that is cost
effective and energy
efficient to meet challenges
faced in the field and in this
everchanging world.
CTS Customer Base and History
◦ Among our satisfied customers you will find OEM representatives (Other Equipment Manufacturers), industrial contractors, mechanical
consulting and design engineers, chemical manufacturers, food and beverage manufacturers and processors, refrigeration warehouse
companies, industrial buyers, utility companies, a large dry-cleaning market, etc.
◦ Cooling Tower Systems product line is within 74 countries with direct representation worldwide.
◦ Cooling Tower Systems is a manufacturer’s representative for cooling tower lines and related equipment for over 35 years. We have many different
models of cooling towers in production, to include counter flow induced draft, counter flow crossflow, fluid cooling towers (closed loop system),
high temperature cooling towers, industrial cooling towers, low noise cooling towers, etc.
◦ Our most common cooling tower we sell into the North and South America would be our counter flow induced draft, FRP (non-corrosive)
cooling tower models, which is more energy efficient, cost effective, non-corrosive nature, and would be considered our most desirable model.
◦ CTS has been a member of the Cooling Tower Institute (CTI) since 1972 and rate our cooling towers per their specifications. We are CTI
certified on our R-LC model line and will give a manufacturer CTI certification stating that all models of cooling towers that we select,
using proper design conditions, will meet and exceed STD-201 CTI certification.
Three Main Reasons to Buy
A CTS Cooling Tower
1. Non-Corrosive Nature of Cooling Tower
 The hot and cold deck are manufactured from PVC and FRP (Fiberglassed Reinforced Polyester). All steel components have a quality hot dip
galvanizing that does resist corrosion. All fasteners on our cooling towers are 304 stainless steel in nature. We also have the capability of
manufacturing all support components in 304 stainless steel.
2. Energy Efficiency
 Our counterflow induced draft cooling towers allow us to be more energy efficient than a conventional tower. This is because it is a round
circular type cooling tower with fresh intake from center of tower, 360 degrees around it. This allows an increase of fresh air supply verses a
conventional cross-flow or counter-flow cooling tower, which only draws air from two sides of the system. Our counter flow induced cooling
towers will use less fan motor horsepower when compared with other conventional style cooling towers.
3. Warranty
◦ Cooling Tower Systems, Inc. offers the best warranty in the industry, which is 20 years on the FRP (fiberglass reinforced polyester)
components that are manufactured with a gel coating to protect it from ozone’s and UV lights. Our FRP is mixed with a gel coating that
strengthens and protects it from the UV (ultraviolet) light rays in the ozone. This provides a higher resistance to rot and decay to all FRP
portions of the cooling towers in extreme climate environments.
◦ The reason we can give a 20-year warranty verses others in the industry that give up to a 5 years warranty, is due to the FRP of tower to
include the casing and cold-water basin. They have been gel coated during the manufacturing process, providing protection from UV
ultraviolet ozone.
Unique Features of a CTS Cooling Tower
Quality
◦ Our cooling towers are non-rusting, FRP, counter flow, and induced draft. Its unique design allows water to
recirculate and evaporate out the top of the tower. Our standard drift loss on T-2 models is approximately 0.1% of
circulating water. CTS offers a Drift Eliminator Assembly that can decrease the loss of water to approximately
0.05%. The interior of this assembly has an S like structure so that water is not vaporized and then returned to the
cooling tower.
Maintenance
◦ Due to the round and constant motion of water in our cooling towers, this makes it very difficult for bacteria and
mold to grow. Water is never stagnant in the cooling tower and is constantly being recirculated.
◦ We do have operation and service manual that needs to be reviewed and followed before a cooling tower is put into
service.
◦ This information is available and downloadable from our website at www.coolingtowersystems.com
Accessories Sold with CTS Cooling Towers
Water Pumps: CTS has a quality line of water pumps, specially designed for our cooling towers. This product line allows users to maintain higher levels of efficiency over a
wider range of operating conditions. Light weight and low noise. Suction and discharge connections are inline designed in the same size as towers to simplify piping in any
direction for installation. All water pumps come with a TEFC motor for outdoor use.
Immersion Heater: CTS has developed a full line of winterization kits. We provide both screw type heaters with thermostats and bottom mount heaters with control panels.
These are installed in the basin of the cooling tower to protect them from freezing during the cold weather months.
In cold climate using immersion heaters with an on and off thermostat control panel keeps the cold-water basin from freezing.
Heat Exchanger: A system that combines a cooling tower with a plate heat exchanger, and you'll save money from day one. You'll also get a system that maintains effective
fluid isolation and cools HVAC or process liquids more efficiently. A tower system with a heat exchanger is far less expensive to buy than any evaporative cooler. Couple the
tower and the heat exchanger, and you also get a more efficient system that's cheaper to run, incorporates superior stainless-steel components, uses colder water (not glycol),
and requires smaller components — including heat pumps — with lower horsepower.
Storage Tank: Above ground, horizontal and vertical storage tanks are available for the purpose of storing water during the hot or cold weather months. Features tie-down
slots, built-in graduation gallon-count indicators, siphon tube, offset fill-well and self-vented, slosh proof lids. Vertical storage tanks are most frequently used for nursing mobile
application equipment and bulk storage. In a cold climate for winter use it is preferred not to use the cold-water basin for your processed water, instead elevate the cooling
tower outside so after you get your desired thermal performance all the cooling towers processed water will flow inside into a remote processed water tank that is in a
controlled atmosphere.

Couple the tower and the heat exchanger, and you also get a more efficient system that's cheaper to run, incorporates superior stainless-steel components, uses colder water (not glycol), and requires smaller components — including heat pumps — with lower horsepower. Storage Tank: Above ground, horizontal and vertical storage tanks are available for the purpose of storing water during the hot or cold weather months. Features tie-down slots, built-in graduation gallon-count indicators, siphon tube, offset fill-well and self-vented, slosh proof lids. Vertical storage tanks are most frequently used for nursing mobile application equipment and bulk storage. In a cold climate for winter use it is preferred not to use the cold-water basin for your processed water, instead elevate the cooling tower outside so after you get your desired thermal performance all the cooling towers processed water will flow inside into a remote processed water tank that is in a controlled atmosphere.
