Concetti Form, fill &
seal for smart bags
Our stand features the new FFS - Evolution bagging
machine that smoothly and effortlessly forms, fills and
seals bags made from a continuous reel of tubular PE
film. Combined with a Kuka robot palletiser, it provides
a modern, flexible, easy to use fully automatic system,
designed for free flowing granular products found in
the plastic compounding industry.
The FFS – Evolution is the ultimate in flexibility.
Changes to bag size are made under programme control
using servomotors without the need for any spanner
adjustments. A serial network synchronises the bagging
machine and palletiser programmes and means
Concetti is platform-ready for Industry 4.0, sometimes
called the next industrial revolution.

Secure pallets with a
perfect shape
A secure pallet is essential for safe
transportation. It begins with the bag. The way
it’s made and filled. This might mean creating
K seals at the corners of an FFS bag, removing
air or flattening the bag to create the perfect
shape for safe and secure palletising.
Each application is different but Concetti
Group has the product range to meet virtually
every need.
Concetti make distinctive systems where
flexibility is paramount. Most open
mouth bag filling lines need to handle
several products. Changeovers can be
time consuming but we aim to make
them in less than 90 seconds.
There may be different bag sizes and
types with different closures. But whether
it’s heat-sealing, sewing or gluing Concetti
can provide them all, programme
selectable in one machine. Even clean
down between grades is made easy.

Lightweight powders
New bagging line
for precipitated silica
Huber Corporation in the USA produce precipitated
amorphous silica. Concetti recently supplied two
highly innovative form, fill seal machines and a
robot palletiser to handle this extremely fine, very
lightweight powder. The system uses deaeration to
produce PE bags, which are more compact,
delivering more stable pallets as well as saving
packaging costs. The bags are stronger, with greater
moisture resistance than the original paper bags,
minimise dust and are easily recycled. The line
densifies the packed silica by up to 35%.

Nitrogen flushing,
retaining freshness
of bagged products
Concetti, Bastia Umbra, Italy, can now offer
Modified Atmosphere Packaging as an option on its
fully automatic bagging systems. This is designed to
help dry pet food and animal feed producers offer
the very best quality of product and improve
profitability. Concetti has already tested a fully
automatic pet food IGF 1200 with a double feeding
system, designed for gusseted open mouth paper
bags with inner PE liner, from 4 to 20 kg. The
innovative system, designed by Concetti, consists of
replacing air with nitrogen during the entire filling
process, not just in the package itself.
