Experience
I have comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of construction with some supervisory experience. I
have worked in the Construction industry for 34 years onshore in shipbuilding/ship repair,
Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical industries, offshore and abroad in the Oil & Gas industry,
fabrication yards on Greenfield/Brownfield projects including, pipe fitting, hydro-testing and N2
testing. I am also competent with fabrication of pipe work to highest standards using a variety of
different materials and sizes such as Duplex, Carbon steel and Stainless steel, Titanium, Cunifer,
Copper and Plastic. Varying in sizes ranging from ½” to 24”.

Foster Wheeler - Pipefitter/Piping Foreman
During my time on GP3 I have worked for three contracting companies. Whilst with Aker Solutions I
was Piping Foreman for eighteen months. Duties included to liaise with General Foreman on a
daily basis, report progress, onsite supervision of Platers, Welders and Riggers. To originate work
permits and associated documents, risk assessments etc. Organise spool and valve deliveries,
ensure materials and equipment are on site, scaffold access, identified TP’s onsite and flange
management. Fabrication and fitting of 1/2” up to 24” pipework. Whilst employed with Petrofac and
AFW general pipe fitting duties also fabrication of pipe supports and Synergy action close out
dealing with platform safety issues. Assisting Mechanical department with isolations/de-isolations,
installation of various sized valves and pipework using quick flange, lokring fittings and cold flaring
pipework. I have also completed many shut downs within the time frame, safely and successfully.

Duties included outfitting of modules from empty shells to complete accommodation modules

I was employed on pre shut down, pre works, execution and completion of shutdown piping tasks.
August 2004 – Feb 2005 McNulty Offshore – Technip East Area project - Pipefitter
Duties including outfitting of pipe racks. Pipework installed included carbon steel, stainless steel,
duplex and erection and jointing of fibrebond pipe work. Completed punch lifts items, testing and
commissioning of piping systems.
2003 – 2004 Various Shutdown work scopes for the Petrochemical Industry / Pipe fitter
I was employed by several companies on short term contracts.
2000 – 2003 IKM Mekaniske – Norway - Pipe fitter
I was employed on several projects working throughout Norway. The ‘Troll’ project was the most
notable. Sites included Stavanger, Stord Island and Haugesund. Predominately pipe fabrication in
the fab shop and then installation on site.
1998 – 2000 McNulty Offshore / Fab shop – Pipe fitter
I was employed in the fabrication shop fabricating various sizes of pipe work for the Janice alpha
Banff FPSO and the Pierce FPSO.
1994 – 1998 AMEC onshore – Wallsend - Pipefitter
Employed on several Greenfield projects including Shearwater, Ekofisk and BP ‘ETAP’. I was
involved with module fabrication, outfitting also hydro-testing and N2 testing activities.

I was involved with pipe fabrication, pipe erection, hydro-testing and commissioning.

pipe fitting replacing ‘old for new’ pipework and hydro testing. Fabrication of pipe supports and
