32. Dear Uncle Leslie & Uncle Jimmy This camp is better than the one last year. HONEST ! Last year we literally listened to the Rotarians talk and give us lectures on various topics. But this year it is very DIFFERENT !!! Thank you… Love, Selina, Vice President , IAC PLMGS
33. The camp was AWESOME !I’d like to thank all of you who put in a lot of time & effort in this amazingly awesome camp. I’ve always thought that Interact is just about planning an event and then carrying it out to help the needy. However, I learned from Uncle Leslie that “there is community service and MEANINGFUL community service that makes a REAL DIFFERENCE…” I have learnt a lot about Interact, it’s history and it’s goals. I will be back next year when I’m in JC. We Love You, Lixin, Community Service Dir, IAC TKGS Serve with Love & Care
34. Dear Uncle Jimmy I think the new method of not having too many Rotarians lecturing is better this year as it was too boring last year. Through this camp I learned about Interact and the different qualities of an Interact leader and many more. This new method is EXCELLENT ! Qing Yang, President, IAC Evergreen Sec School
35. Dear Uncle Jimmy & Uncle Leslie The camp was far more fun than last year. I found the tips for Presidents very useful. The examples of meaningful projects done before by other Interact Clubs was very inspirational ! Radhika, President, IAC GIIS (Queenstown)
36. In this Interact Leadership Training Camp, I learnt many new skills as well as a deeper insight of Interact. It has been a real eye opener for me. I learnt more about being a club Secretary, on International Understanding and the role & duties as Interactors. I also made many new friends and about working together as a team. It was a fun learning experience for me. Many thanks to the trainers, Rotarians, Rotaractors & volunteers who organised this camp for us. Lena Loh Club Secretary, IAC Chung Cheng High School
37. This camp has educated me about Interact in so many ways. I am certainly more informed on my duties as Vice President and I feel more motivated & inspired after attending the PETS training. Uncle Leslie is a very motivating speaker. The project management workshop gave me a much better idea of how to plan & organise projects. I learned that finding out what the beneficiary really needs is very important. Only then can we really help the needy. I am really inspired by the Cambodia trip done by the Dunman Interactors !
38. Dear Uncle Jimmy & Uncle Leslie To be honest, I wasn’t looking forward to this camp. All my seniors told me it will be boring as they had suffered in past camps. On the contrary, it was really fun and interesting. ..and I’m not just being nice. The workshops on community service & project management really gave me a new perspective on choosing a MEANINGFUL community service. I will always remember the story about the $70 goat and the importance of making a real impact in the lives of the beneficiaries. This camp will definitely change the way I do things as a Community Service Director.
39. I’ve enjoyed this ILTC camp. I attended the Treasurer’s training and IU workshop and I found them quite meaningful. I didn’t realise just how many procedures there are for Treasurers & Finance committee to observe. I learnt how important it is for me to take care and pay close attention to the usage of club funds. The IU talk has made me very keen about going overseas to help others. Quan Yun Club Treasurer, IAC Chung Cheng High School
