 Project management approach and approach to quality control
 Contractor safety program and record
 4 firms were selected for an interview based on the results of the scoring matrix
 Interview process
 Staff reviewed interview responses and ranked the firms
 Purchasing contacted and verified references for the top ranked firm

5. CMAR SELECTION
 Based on the process mention, staff recommends J.T. Vaughn Construction, LLC as the Construction
Manager at Risk for the new Police Headquarters building.
 J.T. Vaughn Construction, LLC
 Pre-Construction Services – modeling, 5D estimate and 4D schedule
 Construction
 Dedicated full time superintendent, project manager and QAQC
 Local sub-contractor relationships
 Ability to self perform some work

6. RECOMMENDATION
 Approve J. T. Vaughn Construction, LLC as the
Construction Manager at Risk for the new Police
Headquarters building, as they provide the best
value to the city and the project.
