7. Apple Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak Wozniak had shown Jobs his simple built computer machine. This impressed Jobs and he believed he could sell the machine for a profit. In 2008, Apple had reported revenues of $33.04Billion and profits of $11.15Billion annually.
8. Dixie Chicks Martie & Emily Erwin Natalie Maines The Dixie Chicks started with sisters Martie and Emily Erwin who played music on the street corners of Dallas for small change. The sisters later met and invited Natalie Maines to join their country music rock group. As of 2009 the Dixie Chicks have won 13 Grammy awards with over 30.5 million in record sales for their first three albums.
