The colour scheme of this image is a
light crimson red colour followed along
with a black background and t-shirt.
Sasuke the main character of the
portrait looks dominate, confident and
hostile in this image the static of the
background gives this aura and sense
of him about to attack something that
could cause harm to him his stance on
the other hand seems to be relaxed
and reassuring due to he has the
nunchucks for close range activity.
The clothes what Sasuke is wearing is
designer clothing and high-end in our
society the consistent theme in his
dress code seems to be designer
through out.
Existing Product
Samuel l Jackson stars in a animated movie
called “Afro Samurai” the character is the
movie was also called Afro Samurai
The character seems to be living or
investigating in a deprived area of japan or
china, his dress code juxtaposes with the
different characters I've chosen he has a loose
dressing style in which he as more of a baggy
outfit. His glasses and hairstyle are also
different to what you expect of a samurai his
props in the image are two katanas these
katanas could be a symbol of violence and
protection. The Afro Samurai’s weapons could
also be a symbol of redemption and that he
wants revenge driven by hatred.
The scene of the photo shows us that its set
in a first person shot to where we could see
his facial expression.
His facial expression seems to convey a don’t
care attitude to where his looks uninviting
Existing Product
Goku is in a an anime called Dragon Ball
the dress code in that anime are more
of a baggy karate costume. However in
this portfolio the characters have been
redressed to wear design clothes like
the first image. The colour scheme of
this image seems to friendly and inviting
giving people of younger age to a
chance to get experience with the
anime.
In this portfolio their isn’t any violence
involved or negative energy that could
lead to less people enjoying the anime.
The happy and colourful vibrant colour
scheme attracts audiences to watch the
original anime to where they might
want to play the game or watch the
colour are more based on simplicity to
where the younger audience can relate
to the colours.
The scene of the image indicates us that
Goku is walking around town and there
is a first person portrait photo of him
Existing Product
Spike is the main protagonist of
Cowboy Bebop he has a relaxed
and chill attitude in the photo in
were he smokes with a observant
look possibly looking around his
surroundings. Spikes stance in
how he is sat displays us that he
has quite a mellow attitude to life
and is mostly chilled and relaxed.
Also his stances and facial
expression portrays a dominate
attribute to his nature.
the colour scheme of the image is
present in a simple format to
where its more toned and
detailed but has an easy colour
arrangement to identify. The
angle in where his eyes are faced
looks to illustrates us on how keen
he may want to do something of
ambition.
Research Analysis
• What common features do the researched
products have?
They always tent to have a common theme of a bright colour block or a dull
colour scheme to where we can see what backgrounds they possibly live in
and patrol in
• What aspects of the research will you include
within your on work?
I will try to have a wide range of colour schemes getting colours what aren't
normally used and enhance them by adverting them.
Questionnaire Analysis
Audience research
Observation: The graph shows peoples interest in
wanting music in an anime portfolio the results are
really divided to peoples desires, but the majority
wanted a chill audio mix in the portfolio. By having a
chill song to go with the portfolio this makes the
portfolio have some sort of suttle feel and vibe to
the aspect.
What this says about my audience:
My audience has a more favour in the chill genre of
music I think they choose this genre because it felt
more associated with anime rather than having jazz
to where it really can’t be merged to make a good
musical atmosphere.
how will your product appeal to this audience: by
having a chill musical background in the portfolio my
product will appeal more to people cause of the
survey what the class carried out the majority
choosing the chill genre this data convinces me more
to go and approach the chill aspect of music
Audience research
Observation: 70% of the class had a desire
to have a detailed piece of art to were
they wanted precision, time and
dedication
What this says about my audience:
My class audience wants to have a
detailed piece of work they wanted this
because they probably wanted hours put
in the art
How will your product appeal to this
audience:
By having a detailed piece of art this
draws peoples attention in having things
what the audience want to see also by
having a detailed piece of work the
product can have an impact on the person
who is the creator and could Potentially
increase the creators reputation.
Audience research
Observation: In my opinion I think that the
whole class should have chosen yes to do art
because in class people have done art though
Photoshop and drawing character designs. The
forum for No, and abit was 40% this indicated
that they perhaps didn’t evolve themselves
with art outside of class and collage grounds.
However, the people who choose Yes (20%)
they possibly had a chance in getting involved
with art in or out of class
What this says about my audience:
How will your product appeal to this audience:
Audience research
Observation: The accessories I
provided had a wide range of desires
and opinions between each answers,
people had many opinions when
they were asked in the survey to
choose an anime.
What this says about my audience:
The audience had a high need for
mugs I did really know why this could
be associate with anime but could
have an impact on advertising mugs
How will your product appeal to this
audience: seeing the results of the
graph people like to associate
themselves with mugs this could be a
good way of advertising mugs
instead of bags to where I though it
would sell the most.
Audience research
• Observation: The most common
anime/cartoon was Pokémon this
popularity of the anime tells me that not
only Pokémon has an impact of children
audiences it can also be reached to
secondary audiences such as the age
range of 16 years old+
• What this says about my audience:
• My audience has a wide range of
anime/cartoon favouritisms of Pokémon
this tells me that I can get most out likely
get the most out of Pokémon related
characters.
• How will your product appeal to this
audience:
• My product will appeal to the audience
because Pokémon is one of the most
recognisable and popular anime
What is your favorite anime/cartoon?
Audience research
Observation:
I wasn't expecting people to answer this
question because mostly people in my class
did’t have anything in common or knowledge
to do with artiest producers
What this says about my audience:
my audience doesn’t have as much interest in
anime producers giving that they don't really
appear much in on the media to get publicity.
How will your product appeal to this audience:
My product wont succeed in publishing
producers it will have to come through a
different aspect.
What is your favorite anime artist and why?
Audience research
• Observation:
• People had an easy decision to
choose a title this was based on
actual anime or cartoon movies
that everyone should know.
• What this says about my
audience: my audience have a
positive answer and knowledge
to get a movie the answers the
class produced were scattered
by the fact they didn’t have any
common favourites.
• How will your product appeal to
this audience:
• My product will appeal to the
audience if I choose something
that everyone possibly knows or
can relate too
Favorite anime film and why?
Audience research
• Observation:
The class decided to go with a bright
colour scheme to what anime and
cartoons do associate themselves with
the majority of the class went for a
colours such as yellow, blue, green, red.
What this says about my audience:
My audience has a clear decision on
choosing colours that eye catch the
audience by having this scheme it could
potently increase the available people
How will your product appeal to this
audience:
My product can appeal to many age
ranges because of the inviting bright
colour this can enhance the amount of
primary and secondary audiences are
and how they support the advert
What colours do you associate with anime?
Audience research
Observation:
The majority of the class choose either portrait
or landscape I dint think the class got the ideal
question because of possibly they forum of the
question being word text instead of being simple
such as a tick a box answer
What this says about my audience:
My audience varied on what they wanted the
audience had a more favour in portrait portfolio
How will your product appeal to this audience:
My product will appeal more better if I have the
portfolio portrait this will probably make the
scenes background look better and focused in
portrait
Favorite portfolio Style?
Audience research
Observation: I was’t expecting the class to
have the same anime/cartoon title but the
results came to be spread to different titles
What this says about my audience:
The audience had creative names for their
anime titles what could probably seem
interesting if they were in development
How will your product appeal to this
audience:
These products the audience made could
perhaps make an appal to the public due to
the creative names such as ‘Bouncer’ what
could mean anything what creates imagery to
the watchers head.

• Observation:
• The first interview was about some one who isn't into anime and
doesn't have an interest at all.
• What this says about my audience: this says about my audience
that its quite hard to please a particular type of audience
• How will your product appeal to this audience: it would probably
appeal to the audience when they see the final developments of
the product I make possibly

more interest in anime and new a bit more about what the
questions were asking him/ her.
• What this says about my audience: my audience in interview 2 had
little interest in the matter of anime/ cartoon but I think he didn’t
know too much on how to address the matter to increase the
poetical of anime.
• How will your product appeal to this audience: I think that my
product will appeal to the audience when they start to see my final
project come up this could increase the liking of the genre and
could help appeal to the audience
Audience Profile
Category Demographic Content to appeal to this audience
Age Range
10-20 My targeting primary priority is age 10-14 and
my secondary will be form 14-20 if I accomplish
this my idea is to have a portfolio with a
animated background.
Gender
Mostly male I think that my content is better fitted to have a
wider audience of males because its mostly
advertising male anime characters.
Psychographic
Peoples interest in
anime/cartoon
My psychographic intension for marketing
would be peoples interest in the whole genre
of anime/cartoon with people wanting that
cartoonish style.
Social Status
Low The social status of the product is quite low
and that people don’t have as much interest in
the genre if this product was to be realised the
product will suffer an impact of no ones needs
in wanting more styles to do with anime.
Research Evaluation
Research Evaluation
• Give an overview of how you conducted your research. Discuss the strengths and weaknesses
of each method
– Product Research
Advantages of the product- doing a different style or work was a moral idea because it was
work what people didn’t really approach by doing so, it gives me more of an creative field of
view to continue more of a different variety of work. The disadvantages of the product is that
peoples intake on the whole anime/cartoon genre is more based on a younger age group this
can be hard to get a big range of audience to commit into the cartoon genre, this has a big
impact on the product because people less interest in the genre can lead to no publicity. I
think what could be improved is that how I could try to encourage peoples opinion on how to
get a small bit of interest, the audiences judgment could be changed more by doing different
approaches to the matter such as give them options to what certain cartoons or anime e.g.
Pokémon or Rick and Morty.
Questionnaires
I carried out a survey for the class to carry out on weather they liked anime/ cartoon or what they
could want to be improved and small insight on there knowledge to anime, I think that this had a
small bit of success because some answers weren't answered incorrectly or irrelevant.
– Interviews
Lastly I also carried out interviews on peoples opinions to see where this product lies and how it
could also be improved such as character deign and detail in the artwork of the portfolio. I asked
out two individuals if this was able to be improved and there is a small bit or chance to get the
audience to get interest in the genre.
Research Evaluation
– What sort of a response did you get?
The responses I got from my survey was a wide range of question one of the class
associates help me develop some questions for future questions in my survey
such as the forum for question 8 what is your favourite portfolio style.
– How did you distribute your survey?
I distributed my survey though survey monkey after making the survey I sent it off to
blackboard to where the class was able to review and fill the survey. Some of the people
who took part didn’t really know how to answer the questions such as what is your
favourite type of portfolio.

Project 3. research personal project

  • 2. Existing Product The colour scheme of this image is a light crimson red colour followed along with a black background and t-shirt. Sasuke the main character of the portrait looks dominate, confident and hostile in this image the static of the background gives this aura and sense of him about to attack something that could cause harm to him his stance on the other hand seems to be relaxed and reassuring due to he has the nunchucks for close range activity. The clothes what Sasuke is wearing is designer clothing and high-end in our society the consistent theme in his dress code seems to be designer through out.
  • 3. Existing Product Samuel l Jackson stars in a animated movie called “Afro Samurai” the character is the movie was also called Afro Samurai The character seems to be living or investigating in a deprived area of japan or china, his dress code juxtaposes with the different characters I've chosen he has a loose dressing style in which he as more of a baggy outfit. His glasses and hairstyle are also different to what you expect of a samurai his props in the image are two katanas these katanas could be a symbol of violence and protection. The Afro Samurai’s weapons could also be a symbol of redemption and that he wants revenge driven by hatred. The scene of the photo shows us that its set in a first person shot to where we could see his facial expression. His facial expression seems to convey a don’t care attitude to where his looks uninviting
  • 4. Existing Product Goku is in a an anime called Dragon Ball the dress code in that anime are more of a baggy karate costume. However in this portfolio the characters have been redressed to wear design clothes like the first image. The colour scheme of this image seems to friendly and inviting giving people of younger age to a chance to get experience with the anime. In this portfolio their isn’t any violence involved or negative energy that could lead to less people enjoying the anime. The happy and colourful vibrant colour scheme attracts audiences to watch the original anime to where they might want to play the game or watch the colour are more based on simplicity to where the younger audience can relate to the colours. The scene of the image indicates us that Goku is walking around town and there is a first person portrait photo of him
  • 5. Existing Product Spike is the main protagonist of Cowboy Bebop he has a relaxed and chill attitude in the photo in were he smokes with a observant look possibly looking around his surroundings. Spikes stance in how he is sat displays us that he has quite a mellow attitude to life and is mostly chilled and relaxed. Also his stances and facial expression portrays a dominate attribute to his nature. the colour scheme of the image is present in a simple format to where its more toned and detailed but has an easy colour arrangement to identify. The angle in where his eyes are faced looks to illustrates us on how keen he may want to do something of ambition.
  • 6. Research Analysis • What common features do the researched products have? They always tent to have a common theme of a bright colour block or a dull colour scheme to where we can see what backgrounds they possibly live in and patrol in • What aspects of the research will you include within your on work? I will try to have a wide range of colour schemes getting colours what aren't normally used and enhance them by adverting them.
  • 8. Audience research Observation: The graph shows peoples interest in wanting music in an anime portfolio the results are really divided to peoples desires, but the majority wanted a chill audio mix in the portfolio. By having a chill song to go with the portfolio this makes the portfolio have some sort of suttle feel and vibe to the aspect. What this says about my audience: My audience has a more favour in the chill genre of music I think they choose this genre because it felt more associated with anime rather than having jazz to where it really can’t be merged to make a good musical atmosphere. how will your product appeal to this audience: by having a chill musical background in the portfolio my product will appeal more to people cause of the survey what the class carried out the majority choosing the chill genre this data convinces me more to go and approach the chill aspect of music
  • 9. Audience research Observation: 70% of the class had a desire to have a detailed piece of art to were they wanted precision, time and dedication What this says about my audience: My class audience wants to have a detailed piece of work they wanted this because they probably wanted hours put in the art How will your product appeal to this audience: By having a detailed piece of art this draws peoples attention in having things what the audience want to see also by having a detailed piece of work the product can have an impact on the person who is the creator and could Potentially increase the creators reputation.
  • 10. Audience research Observation: In my opinion I think that the whole class should have chosen yes to do art because in class people have done art though Photoshop and drawing character designs. The forum for No, and abit was 40% this indicated that they perhaps didn’t evolve themselves with art outside of class and collage grounds. However, the people who choose Yes (20%) they possibly had a chance in getting involved with art in or out of class What this says about my audience: How will your product appeal to this audience:
  • 11. Audience research Observation: The accessories I provided had a wide range of desires and opinions between each answers, people had many opinions when they were asked in the survey to choose an anime. What this says about my audience: The audience had a high need for mugs I did really know why this could be associate with anime but could have an impact on advertising mugs How will your product appeal to this audience: seeing the results of the graph people like to associate themselves with mugs this could be a good way of advertising mugs instead of bags to where I though it would sell the most.

How will your product appeal to this audience: My product wont succeed in publishing producers it will have to come through a different aspect. What is your favorite anime artist and why?

  • 15. Audience research • Observation: The class decided to go with a bright colour scheme to what anime and cartoons do associate themselves with the majority of the class went for a colours such as yellow, blue, green, red. What this says about my audience: My audience has a clear decision on choosing colours that eye catch the audience by having this scheme it could potently increase the available people How will your product appeal to this audience: My product can appeal to many age ranges because of the inviting bright colour this can enhance the amount of primary and secondary audiences are and how they support the advert What colours do you associate with anime?
  • 16. Audience research Observation: The majority of the class choose either portrait or landscape I dint think the class got the ideal question because of possibly they forum of the question being word text instead of being simple such as a tick a box answer What this says about my audience: My audience varied on what they wanted the audience had a more favour in portrait portfolio How will your product appeal to this audience: My product will appeal more better if I have the portfolio portrait this will probably make the scenes background look better and focused in portrait Favorite portfolio Style?

  • 21. Interview 2 • Would you like a number of anime designs? • Yes, because it shows how well you can produce your work consistently. • 2.) What would you like developed most in my product? Character designs and having a decent amount of detail to the image of story. • 3.) What do you think about my idea? Its good its something that has potential to take off. • 4.) What do you think about anime? Its good if the story is plotted well • 5.) after the production, will it change on peoples opinion on anime/cartoons. I think it might if the story is played out well.
  • 22. Interview 2 • Observation: The person who took the second interview had a bit more interest in anime and new a bit more about what the questions were asking him/ her. • What this says about my audience: my audience in interview 2 had little interest in the matter of anime/ cartoon but I think he didn’t know too much on how to address the matter to increase the poetical of anime. • How will your product appeal to this audience: I think that my product will appeal to the audience when they start to see my final project come up this could increase the liking of the genre and could help appeal to the audience
  • 23. Audience Profile Category Demographic Content to appeal to this audience Age Range 10-20 My targeting primary priority is age 10-14 and my secondary will be form 14-20 if I accomplish this my idea is to have a portfolio with a animated background. Gender Mostly male I think that my content is better fitted to have a wider audience of males because its mostly advertising male anime characters. Psychographic Peoples interest in anime/cartoon My psychographic intension for marketing would be peoples interest in the whole genre of anime/cartoon with people wanting that cartoonish style. Social Status Low The social status of the product is quite low and that people don’t have as much interest in the genre if this product was to be realised the product will suffer an impact of no ones needs in wanting more styles to do with anime.
  • 25. Research Evaluation • Give an overview of how you conducted your research. Discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each method – Product Research Advantages of the product- doing a different style or work was a moral idea because it was work what people didn’t really approach by doing so, it gives me more of an creative field of view to continue more of a different variety of work. The disadvantages of the product is that peoples intake on the whole anime/cartoon genre is more based on a younger age group this can be hard to get a big range of audience to commit into the cartoon genre, this has a big impact on the product because people less interest in the genre can lead to no publicity. I think what could be improved is that how I could try to encourage peoples opinion on how to get a small bit of interest, the audiences judgment could be changed more by doing different approaches to the matter such as give them options to what certain cartoons or anime e.g. Pokémon or Rick and Morty. Questionnaires I carried out a survey for the class to carry out on weather they liked anime/ cartoon or what they could want to be improved and small insight on there knowledge to anime, I think that this had a small bit of success because some answers weren't answered incorrectly or irrelevant. – Interviews Lastly I also carried out interviews on peoples opinions to see where this product lies and how it could also be improved such as character deign and detail in the artwork of the portfolio. I asked out two individuals if this was able to be improved and there is a small bit or chance to get the audience to get interest in the genre.
  • 26. Research Evaluation – What sort of a response did you get? The responses I got from my survey was a wide range of question one of the class associates help me develop some questions for future questions in my survey such as the forum for question 8 what is your favourite portfolio style. – How did you distribute your survey? I distributed my survey though survey monkey after making the survey I sent it off to blackboard to where the class was able to review and fill the survey. Some of the people who took part didn’t really know how to answer the questions such as what is your favourite type of portfolio.
