Benefits Administration
Liaison between insurance broker and company health committee to ensure compliance with
Affordable Care Act as well as with balancing annual health renewal costs to meet the needs
of the company as well as employees
Communicate all health benefit options, changes and costs to employees
Worked with finance department and health insurance broker to create a smooth transition
from a fully insured health plan to a self insured health plan
Performed full audit on dependent insurance coverage and was able to identify 3% of
dependents ineligible for coverage, resulting in a savings to the company
Current Investment Committee member with on-going review of 401(k) plan and
communicator of benefit to employees
Assisted in re-evaluating 401(K) plan and was lead liaison for trustee and service provider
transition, which established a program with more funds options and investment options
