Each household has an average of 80 Lbs. Waste collection services and movers often will not take pick up these items. Items such as oil-based paint may be too old to use or pesticides may be banned for use.
Provide safe disposal, provide information on what happens to what has been collected, bring information about reduction techniques (paint estimating) storage guidelines to reduce waste, Stakeholders including emergency responders, watershed councils, public officials, Give information on facilities accepting motor oil, how to dispose of latex paint.

Properly store materials in the off season, stabilize the fuels, label the old product, store paint upside down with date on the container. Offer safer alternatives.
