Accepted roles and responsibilities outside the scope of traditional manufacturing engineering area of
expertise including a field assignment where a mishap led to product testing falling behind schedule and
over cost. This presented an opportunity to assume a leadership role in an environment where objectives and
processes were not welldefined. I developed a rebuild plan that helped satisfy an extremely concerned
customer, communicated the plan and steps for success to the onsite and remote stakeholders, and
established my role as a primary point of contact for operational issues. My team’s efforts allowed testing to
resume and minimized downtime. Opportunities such as this have strengthened my leadership,
communication, and collaboration skills.
