Click on Edit Profile to open edit
Dialog box
Click on Edit Button next to link
& type the name you want

Step III - Block Placement & Summary
Placing the blocks
You can build out the profile out as you would like.
Similar rules as with resume (example)
To move blocks, click / hold and drag the block with
the on vertical arrow on the right till it is in the
desired position.
Summary
Write this part last.
Write in a high level, strategic view of your abilities
to any business, not just your current role.
Tone needs to be the same as the rest of your
profile. Avoid putting summary into 3rd person.
Key is to be real.
People smell out and disregard phonies.

As you would with a paper resume:
● Present high level accomplishments
● Professional or Volunteer work can be in this field
● Upload examples of your work
Each position you add gives you a way to connect with former colleagues
To add new position, click on “Add a Position” button at top of Experience Section.
After adding, verify the company logo is correct to ensure you have connected with the correct firm.
In current position only, consider borrowing from your employer’s website to show key details of your
company. Extremely helpful if you are a self-proprietor or small business.

Every once in a while adjustments will need to be made, such as:
● Job updates
● Skills
● Contact information
If you don’t want your boss to know that you just updated your profile:
● Click on your photo in the top right of the main screen to access the Privacy & Settings tab
● Click on “Turn on/off Activity Broadcasts” and then deselect the checkbox to disable activity
broadcasts
● Edit sections of your profile through the edit
profile function
Repeat steps above to re-enable
broadcasts once updates are complete
