7. DOWNLOADING THE INSTALLER

8. Open your browser and go to :
https://ustream.tv/proudcer

9. Scroll down and click
“Download for Windows”

10. Click “Log in with Facebook”

11. Click “Save File”

12. Click “OK”

13. Wait for a few minutes for the program
to download

14. CREATING A CHANNEL

15. While downloading click “GO LIVE” to
create a channel

16. Click Skip to broadcast

17. Fill-in the box

18. click Next

19. Just an example, I created a channel
called “AddictedToRunning”.

20. Click here to logout.

21. INSTALLING USTREAM PRODUCER

22. If your download is done go to your
download folder

23. Right Click the program

24. Click “Extract Files…”

25. Click OK

26. Open the extracted folder

27. Select between 32-bit or 64-bit then
click install

28. After your successful installation click the
UstreamProducer Icon.

29. Make sure that your connected online
or else Ustream Producer will not work

30. Fill-in the box

31. click Sign In

32. Click the drop down arrow to choose your
channel.

33. Click the drop down arrow to choose
your Stream Encoding.

34. If your going to use your webcam the
recommended

35. Stream Encoding is “VGA 4:3 (640x480)
795 kpbs

36. Select VGA 4:3

37. Check “Record my broadcasts on Ustream” so
you can check your video

38. Click the Stream button to start
broadcasting.

39. How to check if your
really broadcasting

46. How to add a Powerpoint Presentation
to your Broadcast

47. First you need to show your powerpoint and
ustream window side by side

“Capture Type:”

54. Capture Audio, When checked, captures
audio in addition to presentation.

55. FPS, Select the frame rate at which you
want the presentation to be captured.

56. Disable Capture, When checked,
capture is disabled.

select the drop down arrow

59. Under Selection, click the drop down
arrow.

60. Click “Select Screen Region

62. After clicking the Change Region you
will now see a selection box.

63. Drag the selection box to your
presentation.

64. Click each corner/sides to modify the size
of the selection box

65. Press the Enter key to save the selection

66. Click OK button

67. Click Audio Settings

69. Click your preferred Audio Device
