Personal Statement
I am an extremely efficient individual who is looking to further my career in the oil and gas industry. I
have gained a wealth of knowledge and skills over the past year while undertaking rope access and
rigging work with TRAC and Rigmar. I have combined this recent knowledge with my previous 14 years
of working in the construction industry including the completion of a 4 year modern apprenticeship and
believe I have the attitude and determination to fulfill my career objectives. I am a motivational team
member who is ambitious hard working and not afraid of long hours.
My most recent work being with TRAC has provided me with the opportunity to enhance my knowledge
and gain experience in the off shore industry. My daily work at heights in all weather conditions,
construction of scaffolding and experience with rope & safety harnesses provide me with working
knowledge and the importance of health & safety, including work with hydraulic hoses, gas torches, hot
tar and painting materials
Other skills include the operation of fork lift trucks and motorcycle repair and customisation.
Career objective
I am looking to dedicate the next 30 years to a career in the oil field and am willing to progress from entry
level transferring and enhancing my skill base.
Work Experience

TRAC Oil and Gas (Ninian South)
Working as a rope access rigger I was involved with the upgrading/replacement of trigger lines,
deconstruction of redundant oil pipelines and daily use of hydraulic cutting machinery.
2014
TRAC Oil and Gas (Dan Bravo)
Working as a rope access rigger I was involved in the set up of rigging for air hoists for dismantling
and repairs on spider deck and Sub Sea.
2013
Rigmar (Ensco 120)
Work experience gained; rope access and rigging work this followed on from the employment with the Galaxy 2 rig and work on the Ensco 120
was carried out until completion of the upgrade.

Work gained with the company initially as a member of the dayshift upgrading team covering various duties. I initially commenced employment
as fire watcher and undertook duties as plater and welders mate, completion of work permits, tank sentry and general labouring such as painting,
preparing spools to be fitted and upholding the health and safety of the working environment.

Duties include small to large tiling and slating repairs, felting and flat roofing along with coating and cement work. Repairing and replacing
guttering and drainage, constructing scaffolding and the installing roof vents and windows. Supervising labourers and above all ensuring

Additional Experience
Additional work undertaken in local timber merchants saw mill involved working heavy plant machinery,
